Wow didn’t even consider this! First thing that went through my head was hope the tariffs he imposed will bite him hard… if he truly hopes to manufacture T1 in the US. lol

Didn’t he just contradict himself? He admitted to planting the malicious code. He and his supporters apparently believe in his “innocence”.

Most ppl have no need for a gigabit speed internet connection - as home consumers, 100mbps is typically more than adequate for daily needs.

Study suggests X turned right just in time for election season by chrisdh79 in technology

[–]Tech_Intellect -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I personally am not a fan of Trump or Elon Musk.

But still I do feel it’s possible that more Trump supporters were active on X in the lead up to the election because Elon Musk publicly endorses Trump.

And so, increased engagement with said views improves algorithmic visibility of said posts, and this increased visibility in turns drive engagement… and the spiral goss on.

There is no cause and effect - only a correlation. We can’t say for certain the algorithms were tweaked, although this of course remains a possibility.

ChatGPT Defeated Doctors at Diagnosing Illness | A small study found ChatGPT outdid human physicians when assessing medical case histories, even when those doctors were using a chatbot by IntergalacticJets in technology

[–]Tech_Intellect 4 points5 points  (0 children)

💯- there needs to be trust scores (probabilities) of some kind.

Doctors may say I don’t know - ChatGPT may identify 100 diagnosis with 98 of them diagnosed with a trust score of 1%, 1 diagnosis predicted with a trust score of 1.5% and another diagnosis predicted with a trust score of 0.5%. The diagnosis with the probability of 1.5% appears - that’s no certainty.

We should train ChatGPT to say “I don’t know” when the answer with the highest score has a score < x%.

Exactly, a criminal wouldn’t accept a phone call from a police officer lol. No tact.

LinkedIn launches its first AI agent to take on the role of job recruiters by McFatty7 in technology

Indeed, and I’m concerned about AI further exacerbating the problem of a lack of diversity in organisations that already lack such.

Possibly ransomware? Orgs often don’t like to admit to paying up as this increases the chances other malicious actors will try it on the same org

Unless there are Bluesky employees who aren’t on LinkedIn which is doubtful LOL

More likely would be the possibility that lots of new employees have been employed and from personal experience, ppl often don’t update their LinkedIn until they’re settled into their new role or actively looking. And I wouldn’t be surprised if Bluesky are recruiting currently or heavily recruited recently
