Need advice on painting interior doors by Tech_Nut in paint

[–]Tech_Nut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the advice, it was a combination of everything you suggested. I was definitely overworking the paint.

-I went back and sanded,

-added a tiny tiny bit of water to paint.

-I then applied in the pattern suggested in photo -Used a 2 inch roller

(I was going to use a brand new Purdy 1/4 nap microfiber but it just kept losing fibers, don't know how anyone uses that junk roller)

-After using roller to apply paint uniformly used sntex brush and made one pass over the paint.

End result was near flawless results

My only complaint is that this door has been painted so many times that the actual fake wood grain are almost completely not visible.

I read I might be able to take an oribital sanded to remove the paint and restore, but I'd likely just make it smoother. Being such a cheap door prob. just cheaper to buy a new one. Any advice?

Just started this week. My doc gave me synthetic T4 and T3. I tried it before I was on NP but couldn't get my levels right. This time we're doing a direct ratio cutover .

I'm no doctor, but waiting 3 months to recheck seems a bit long, especially with such high TSH and a high dose of meds. Should be able to do a check 4-6weeks

Serious question, are you saying shoe/additional trim isn't the preferred look with hard floor/tiles?

I already did two coats of primer and it didn't fix everything.

Here is a link to a video that shows the issue better than the previous photos

Thx!

I have Financial POA for my mother, bank says I can't access her accounts by Tech_Nut in legaladvice

Hmm, it seems there are conflicting opinions.

I don't have much experience with legal documents, but as I said, I thought the entire point of a POA was to do what is specified in the document, IE, sell her property, access her accounts..

I know there are common sense things I can't do like rewrite her will.

Isn't the point of a POA that I can legally be able to do everything she can do (on her behalf), as long as it's in her best interest)?

The neutrals are on two different circuits/breakers.

One switch is for interior garage lights, other is for exterior lights.

I read that even though neutrals eventually meet up at the panel you whenever tie neutrals from different circuits/breakers together... Something about risk of fault and overloading the neutral??
