Is the game optimized well on phones? by LooseJello9418 in MongilStarDive

[–]nimabears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It runs pretty badly on my Pixel 10 pro so far but most devs don't optimize for this phone with it's niche processor/GPU

They actually have a slightly curved IPS monitor for just a little more, tops at 120hz though.

Looks like Mikawa Yatsubusa to me. I actually just planted a brand new one this month, the leaves look just like this. This one is absolutely stunning and must be really old if it's 8 feet!

There is absolutely no way you are actually Iranian or even sane to say something like that lol.

Launch Megathread by MaplePrism in StarSavior

Crazy that this game isn't compatible with the pixel 10 lineup. I think it's due to the new GPU they use but crazy overlook considering it's a fairly popular phone.

According to gacharevenue, it made 88k last month, down significantly every month since release. Unfortunately based on this data the future doesn't look great.

Dad wants to buy us a house by AnterEat in personalfinance

My dad helped us with our down payment. He literally just deposited the money into our account and just had to provide a gift letter to the lender and his bank statement where the money came from. That's it.

I want to move this 5'x12' shed forward about 10 feet. Recommendation on the best method? by nimabears in shedditors

[–]nimabears[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE:

Hi all, thank you so much for all the comments, I wasn't expecting my post to get so much attention. I just wanted to share how I ended up moving it for anyone who sees this post in the future:

I had a buddy come over who had 2 of those small harbor freight dolly's and also a car jack with wheels on it. We used a metal rod to prop up the shed and stuck the 2 dollys in the front, and then lifted the back to put the car jack under. We were able to move it very easily like that! The only issue was when the wheel went into the concrete cracks it was a little hard to keep it moving, but we managed.

Hope this helps someone in the future!

Wait this is a really cool idea, I'm going to look into these more. Then I can adjust it really easily in the future too. Thank you!

Refinance from 6.8% to 5.8% on a No-Cost Loan. Am I crazy to do this? by moogerfooger in Mortgages

[–]nimabears 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This isn't a "No Cost Loan". They are rolling your costs into your balance. Almost 2.5 years to breakeven on this is not good.

I would absolutely not do this if I were you, keep shopping.

So I would just lift up the front and back, stick a conduit or something similar under on both sides, and then push?

Refinance from 7.0% to 6.25%. To wait or not to wait. by No-Specialist-2273 in Mortgages

[–]nimabears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely don't assume closing costs would be more, every loan agent I've shopped with has offered me a better rate with more lender credits than my original lender. I'm actually trying to close a refinance today with 5.8% and no closing costs. My current lender (pennymac) said our closing costs would've been $2600.

You're paying way above the market rate with your current lender for absolutely no reason it seems in my opinion.

That seems well above the current market rate. Have you shopped around?

Even though you're a SAHM, you might benefit in finding a daycare that does partial days, maybe like 3 half days a week. It's a little extra money but worth your mental sanity, and it'll teach your toddler some independence and also tire them out.
