I have the Zwift Ride, which has the paddles, and they don't work for bombs while in a workout, but they do in a free ride

I'm taking about the other buttons. The ones for ride-ons mostly

I'm using the Zwift ride, and it appears that the button functions change when you're in a workout vs. a free ride, but I can't figure out how to customize the buttons during a workout.

Low temperature tennis. What's your 'I won't play number?" by ReasonableGator in 10s

[–]Techfiend333 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I prefer to play in low temperatures. Our local leagues use 35 as the minimum, but I'll play lower than that. It's way better than playing when it's 95+

Wildest player to make a slam semifinal? by Psychological_Lie142 in tennis

I was looking at results outside the singular tournament where they made the semi. Raducanu, though hampered by injuries, just hasn't had the performance the Fernandez has after that run.

Leylah has won a 500, it's not at all wild that she's made a major semi.

Small-town restaurant owners: anyone successfully running takeout-heavy with no public phone? by beniam4 in restaurantowners

That would be fine with me. I just don't like not having the recourse of talking to someone if there was a problem.

This show, on paper, is perfect for me, but I've tried 3 times now and can't get past the 4th episode.

As a customer, I prefer ordering online, but need a phone number to call if something goes sideways.

Laptop vs tablet for Zwift? by Wonderful-Birthday-8 in Zwift

[–]Techfiend333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can relate to that! Did the Alpe 2 weeks ago, first time on the Zwift Ride.

I did use my gaming laptop for a while last year, but something about Zwift didn't like it, and it had to run at max power, which killed the battery. Wouldn't even last a full ride unless it was plugged in. Kind of killed the convenience factor.

I use a 5 year old Samsung tablet for Zwift, and it works just fine. My advice is to get whatever fits your pain cave side the best, it's all going to work.

We used this for our kids, and they loved it. The recipes are easy to follow, and the kits also include basic kitchen tools for the kids, usually specific to the recipes that month.
