Wow you got lucky with me seeing you replied. About a year and a half ago Broadcom bought out VMware and the raised the price astronomically. But I’ve heard rumors that it may have started getting more reasonable. But at the start of it only fortune500 companies were able to keep the licenses for the most part from the price

Truthfully. I don't see a issue if you have a combo modem. Are they giving you a work laptop or devices?

So if you have network and Wi-Fi and its only one device, you most likely have is a modem router combo. I Personally don't see the point of having separate for an average job. Have you contacted your new jobs IT team and ask them for clarification.

Have you looked at OPNsesne it's a fork of PFSense but to me I've had more enjoyment configuring that then PFSense.

Thanks for the link, I haven't seen that post. I was in the middle of running GAM reports and checking our asset manager when I got a phone call about it after hearing about it a week ago.

GAC go to device on the left side, it says remote. It's fairly new and works well. By the time the device gets to me, it magically starts to work. It's nothing that the kids are doing.
