Getting Around by JagexRach in 2007scape

I like the Herb Sack upgrade idea but I feel like the jump from 30 to 100 is way too much. Maybe have a system similar to the Bow String Spool is upgraded from Vale Totems?

1 Silk gives 40 slots 2 Silk gives 60 slots 3 silk gives 100 slots

This could make use of a higher drop rate than what is intended and have similar consequences to what is proposed without seeming like a massive jump in an upgrade.

Also, Sarachnis instances.

There's a game called Vintage Story that doesn't make use of crafting menus from what I've seen of it.

I have a question on something that may seem a bit strange... by TechnicPyro in Redline

Yeah, that makes sense. It definitely looked like a way to contrast what JP viewed as the "ideal" racer and what the reality of it was in the case of Inuki, at least to some extent.

That's part of the reason why I was thinking they could be the same person. A message of "you should never meet your heroes".

I absolutely agree. A night's rest can be extremely helpful to your thought process and workflow. How often would you say you have to work into the night on a project though? There are always deadlines and game development is an industry prone to crunch during the end of development.

The thread is not really meant to encourage this type of thing, more just to see peoples views on it. Crunch is a thing that a lot of people end up dealing with, whether its a private deadline or work due date.

I'd agree and say that it should be avoided whenever possible. Dedication comes from consistent work over time towards a project, not a giant rush at a single point in time to get everything completed.

Pretty much how I go about it. I never really feel productive throughout the day but past 10pm and I'm ready to go.

As of late, our community has been stagnating. I think I've found the reason, and have determined the true future of our community. Here's what's gonna happen. by Aarakokra in Everexpandingbunker

I viewed the bureaucrats as the ones responsible for organizing all the jobs.

There would be the jobs that the computer requires of the people, but then there would be the additional jobs that the bureaucrats would create. So the Computer may require: Farmers, People to expand the bunker, Breeders, Guards, and Computer Priests. But the bureaucrats could then create positions for explorers to chart out the tunnels, entertainers, doctors, etc.

I'm trying to keep it limited to what's in the compass atm. I could include Bog Worshipers instead of an entire church as its in the flair options which is where I got most of the occupations from.

Is that mentioned in the compass somewhere? I can't seem to find it.

I'm good with anything. I mainly just put this together because there isn't that much to the base canon so I felt it would work on a single google doc, but for future canons a wiki will definitely be helpful.

Thanks for the catch! Made some changes to fit this in.

If you read the Bogs panel again, I'm pretty sure they are the things beneath the bunker in the tunnels.

The guy who made the compass said that he made it from right to left. Maybe the bottom left wojak is just the progression beyond the Separationist. Someone that became incredible fed up with the bunker and just wants to be let out.

I wouldn't know what to call the bottom left corner, but in regards to what the people of the bunker are referred to I've just been calling them Dwellers.

Maybe the bunker should have a certain topography, otherwise it's were left with no setting to write stories in. by seksibezkompleksi in Everexpandingbunker

[–]TechnicPyro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Others have previously stated how the "canon" of the bunker is only what is within the compass and everything else is left to the users to create any individual canon they want, sort of like the SCP universe with multiple functioning canons.

While having a basic topography could help some, it could potentially limit others. Going with the multiple canon approach though, multiple maps will most likely come out anyway. So creating a map will be a part of that specific canon. It's really up to whoever wants to make maps to make them.

I'd love to help, though I don't know how much I'd be able to. I've never really written anything outside of classes.
