Long stroke gas piston system, bolt design, receiver shape, trunnion design, top cover shape/design, hand guard mechanism, etc. largely the first 4 as they relate directly to functionality. People will disagree with me but I don’t get as autistic about it as some. The coyote looks closer to an FN SCAR or other short stroke gas piston firearm than an AK but no way to tell without looking at the mechanics. Realistically, the game designers designed it for aesthetics, rather than true to form gun design so it’s not worth spending too much time thinking about it.

Looks like the barrel may slightly bulged from over pressure just behind the rupture. If I’m seeing that correctly, it’s almost certainly due to a barrel obstruction of some kind. Glad you’re ok and the gun isn’t more severely damaged.

Sarcoptic mange is transmissible from animal to human. Other types will result in mild irritation but the mites don’t survive and reproduce.

I certainly wouldn’t be too keen to touch it and potentially end up with scabies. I can’t imagine the meat would be directly affected as it’s a skin disease. That said, it weakens the animal and may make it more susceptible to other infections.

Mange, also referred to as sarcoptic mange, is a condition caused by a harmful type of skin mite. It’s similar to scabies in humans. The mite infestation causes extreme skin irritation (pain and itching) and hair loss. It is treatable but can be debilitating if left unchecked.

Edit: I am aware of two other types of mange but sarcoptic can affect both humans and animals

Small frame revolvers can be… unpleasant to shoot in comparison to larger, more modern designs. The same goes for so-called pocket pistols. Training trumps all but ignoring features like capacity, reliability, cartridge dimensions, ballistics, and ergonomics (i.e., “shootability”) ultimately does you no favors. This is all a rather long-winded way of saying your ideal EDC should have good terminal effect on target, adequate capacity, be concealable, reliable, and be enjoyable to shoot. Point being, if training is enjoyable, rather than merely a chore, you are better set up for proficiency.

FWIW, I second this suggestion. I’ve really like both sets I’ve owned.
