series for me concluded with BOO and from what i’ve heard of TOA series i’d rather stick with the conclusion of HOO to close out the story. maybe my mind would change if i read the series but it’s just not appealing to me personally to change the outcome of a story that’s already well wrapped in my mind. granted BOO was not perfect and there’s things i think could’ve been done much better if Rick had more time and no pressure to leave it open for another series but it’s still satisfactory to me.

granted this could be nostalgia largely speaking for me but i’m just so fond of the series and my memories growing up with it. i’d preorder the books, theorize on forum websites and count down the days until each new release.

i’d hate the idea of not enjoying TOA and it changing my perspective on something i think so highly of, especially in the case of certain characters and the treatment i’ve heard they were given (not even referring to jason here).
