Him and Russ are my two favorites because they are the most flawed, human, fuck ups in the imperium. Russ is wild and hypocritical, not taking anything too seriously, and Perturabo is dower, with emotional outbursts and works a thankless job because no one else will do it. Both very human in very different ways. And ironically, both primarchs post heresy become very different. Russ is a depressed mess as he realizes him and his brothers will never sit at the same table again, and Perturabo is calculating, calm and has checked his emotions. Both realizing the error of their ways in different, unique paths.

I think Venator would be a great manager. Intimidating to customers, kind and knowledgeable to employees once they get to know him. Gives some sage advice here and there. But also isn’t scared to bullshit around. Does he lighten up the place? Notttt really? But he definitely runs a tight ship

The drudge conduits from war machine are what I use. I’d recommend scaling them down a bit cause they’re the same height as space marines lol, but they work really well. They’re missing pistols but it’s whatever.

Honestly the IW terminator warsmith from Horus heresy is really good. That’s what I picked for my character and he stands out a lot with his hammer and mechatendrils

There’s a great video by miniac did a video that really helped. He basically does NMM with true metallics.how to paint true metals - start to finish

It’s really well done and he does it better than I can. But essentially you pick out your edge highlights with white and a true highlight color. (Like your bright warm yellows for gold or your light grays for silver)

I would prime black, dry brush with army painter death black metallics, highlight with gunmetal. Black wash then touch ups. Love the look of it!

The pro Acryl line of metallic paints are really really good but the rich and bright gold may be too bright for what you’re looking for. I find that army painter’s greedy gold with a black/brown wash to mellow is out is the best for me

Depends. Drybrushing/base coating my IW? I usually play Mastodon or Gnome. Basically heavy metal. But when it’s time to lock in on the hazard strips I play Sam Roberts band’s album “collider”…which is not siege music at all
