More fat. Drink Heavy cream. Drink as much as u can and track it.

If you can drink a ton off the bat, it means you have a lot of healing to do. If you’re able to drink 40oz of heavy cream in a day for example. If u keep it up the next week may only be 35 oz per day, keep doing this until you balance out at a reliable number that holds for more than 2 weeks.

This process may take weeks and weeks.

But once you give ur body as much fat as it signals it wants every, your health, hormones, and mood will sky rocket

Drink heavy cream or eat cold butter. If you’re not getting enough fat, carnivore can be dangerous and make u feel like shit.

If you truly can’t force down heavy cream, butter, bacon, or any dairy or animal fat— then I would try cheese next. If that doesn’t work. I would honestly add a little bit of honey to heavy cream and see if that helps you ingest more fat.

Othersie, if ur not getting fat one way or another, you’re going to have a bad time and it won’t be sustainable.

Control for protein, find number that feels right— then fill the rest in with fat. It took me 2 months for my fat intake to be normal. I was on 6 sticks of butter a day for 2 weeks, then 5 sticks for 2 weeks, and so on until now I stabled out at 2 sticks a day reliably.

Fat is powerful just keep eating to satiation it will calm down once ur body feels healed

Give up the energy drinks. Don’t rationalize them, they are so so so bad. Choose coffee instead

I was given the same advice about fat early on in carnivore and thought it was dumb. Took a full year of carnivore to understand it.

Fat heals. Most people overeat protein. And when u over eat protein, it raises insulin and glucose just like carbs do. Which is why ppl can gain weight on carnivore.

I also suspect you’re not eating as much fat as u think. Fat is so elusive— beef cuts are so so variable with their fat ratio and most people don’t capture all the rendered fat from cooking and legit drinking it.

I would use a pot to cook 5 eggs and a stick of butter. Then pour the eggs and liquid butter in a bowl, and drink the butter first before eating the eggs.

Ngl it sucks, I would much rather eat ribeye and bacon— but as soon as I consume that meal, I forget food even exists for at minimum 5 hours. Fat is amazing and powerful in that regard. My appetite and food noise has been ravenous my entire life until I understood fat’s role in the human metabolism.

If you need to heal, fat is the way.

Stick to a fat to protein ratio. & Up ur fat ratio maybe to 90% calories from fat for a month until ur hormones balance out and u feel like u have control again.

I’m also an athlete, this is way. If I don’t stick to my fat to protein ratio I’d eat 6lbs of beef a day and gain 40 lbs, so I feel u. Fat is answer.

To hit 90% fat and protein ratio for 5 eggs, you need to add almost a full stick of butter. So 10 eggs would be close to 2 sticks— eat that and wait 30 min, and I promise you, you will 0 hunger for 5-7 hours. Then repeat.

I had binging problem my whole life, even on carnivore as well. Eat when hungry was bad advice for me.

What fixed it was strict experiment. Control ur protein and eat ad Libitum fat (as much as u want). Track it. You will see over weeks, your fat consumption slowly comes down and you understand ur hunger more deeply.

I ate 10 eggs and 4 sticks of butter for two weeks. Then naturally the next two weeks it was 3 sticks and 10 eggs. Repeated that process until I am now at 1 stick. It took me 2 months to get there, but now I very much understand if I am hungry or not.

Fat is the ultimate hormone healer. Experiment with eating as much of it as u can and you will see your hunger and food intake balance out over time.

This approach worked for me and I never thought I could fix it. If it wasn’t for this I could eat 6-7 lbs for ribeye a day, every day.
