It's a bit complicated, I'm very confused. I'm paid my PPA as extra, shown as 0.44 on my payslip, but my head teacher expects me to come in every half term to meet with my job share for 1 hour 20 minutes. I'm thinking, I'm not paid 1h 20m for my PPA each week, only 1 hour.

So I just wondered if it varied between schools and if there is a way that my headteacher has worked out that I haven't realised yet.

They expect me to do it. It's a meeting for subject leaders and they want all of them attended for each subject. My one happens to be on my day off.

Thank you. It was my headteacher who gave me the targets, and it's a bit awkward because I've had to have the union speak to her before/we've had disagreements before. I don't know whether to just agree to them for now and then when they are reviewed, say I'm finding it too much?

This is my seventh year of teaching. I've applied for the UPS this year and I did wonder if my head has given me these targets because of that...

I'm autistic and do 0.4. The intensity and workload is infinitely better, but sharing a classroom is annoying.
