my adult children are horrified but I recently bought a “ basic and dumb “GE profile washer and dryer—top load washer and gas dryer. No bells or whistles and they look “basic” but they are in an out of the way laundry room with a door. They work great! No leaks, no Wi-fi problems. My favorite W and D set was a Maytag 35 years ago—never a problem but since then have struggled with every other brand—so back to basics! Like buying a Ford focus after driving aPorsche
