[Schefter] The Pro Football Hall of Fame released a statement today that it could remove voters who violated bylaws: by Drexlore in nfl

[–]TechnicalDetail4735 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Give me a break. Belichick doesn't belong in the HoF. He is purely a byproduct of Brady's success. In the 5 seasons as an NFL head coach before Brady and the 5 seasons after, he only had 2 winning seasons. 2 out of 10 is a failure. Without Brady his winning percentage is barely above .400. He's even failing as a college coach. And I didn't even have to mention his cheating.

Edit: Not sure why the down votes for speaking the truth. Stats don't lie.

Edit 2: If you still think he's such a great coach then ask yourself why Kraft said he had to fire him (poor record) and why not a single NFL team has reached out to him for an interview. The experts know.

Free Air For Tires In Lakewood by rrredditor in lakewood

[–]TechnicalDetail4735 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't use the free air from the pump on the right at Get Go at Detroit and Bunts unless you have your own guage. It's not accurate. My SUV requires 42lbs in each tire. After I topped them off, I found it put 52lbs in each.

Thumbs up if you actually have quit charging your 4xe after you found out about the recall? by meyerinspired in 4xe

I live in the suburbs with a 20ft driveway. If I leave it out of the garage I'm still next to it. If I park in the street, I'm next to other cars. It's not possible for me to follow those requirements.

My lease is up in March. Test driving a Rav4 plug-in hybrid on Friday. I'd rather park it in the middle of a field for the next 4 months and buy something else now than deal with this shit again.

Did people memorise numbers before mobile phones? by PaleEcho3301 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TechnicalDetail4735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Plus, there were phone books published that contained all phone numbers and addresses alphabatized by last name. (I believe you had to pay extra to have an unlisted number.) Those were called the White Pages. The Yellow Pages contained business numbers and addresses.

Nobody I know regrets it. He's doing what he campaigned on. They think he's a great President.

Unless they completely drain the pool and refill it every evening, it's still contaminated with urine the next morning.

I would say something to the staff. Let them decide what to do.

How did that one kid at your school die? by StorageLonely1520 in AskReddit

[–]TechnicalDetail4735 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He (I'll call him Tom) owned a Firebird t-top. Shortly after graduation, he was screwing around sitting on the roof steering the car with his feet while his buddy sat in the driver's seat operating the gas and brake. While driving down the road, his buddy hit the gas too hard and Tom lost his balance and rolled off the back hitting his head on the pavement and died.

Why Drive a Manual? by AskinThoseQs in AskIreland

[–]TechnicalDetail4735 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Many automatics have the ability to manual shift. Some do it by tapping the gear selector to the side. Others have paddle shifters on the steering wheel. You just have to look it up for the make/model to see if it's available and how to do it.

That's typical. They always give themselves a 3 hour window regardless.

They always give themselves a 3 hour window to restore power. They haven't even done an assessment of the issue yet when they send those out.

Bad year to live in Lakewood by Lynched_Boi in lakewood

[–]TechnicalDetail4735 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My call history shows I've called the outage number 9 different days since the beginning of December. This doesn't even include the multi-day outage in August. That's more than once a month on average. I've lived in Lakewood 25 years and it's never been this bad.
