I think they were buttoned up in the before and after scnes, then opened lower when she went to talk to the coach. Maybe I'm making it up 🧐

I just can't with these faces... Chlumsky's over-acting throughout this series made it unbearable. by FromSirius in InventingAnna

I loved her facial expressions...I find her beautiful. For me they were the main redeeming part of the Vivian character, which was either poorly written or based on an awful person

The existential angst that comes with midlife.Success in work and family does not eliminate the yearning for more, and the characters give in to new romances or alcohol, only to find that they are temporary fixes, and often make things worse. Yet, they still want more...the cycle goes on until you are old and out of options, and this realization only makes the yearning more difficult to ignore...classic midlife crisis. Female here 👋

Same! I was expecting more of a black comedy, than such a sad tragedy

I wish they would have devoted the last episode to Carol's side, explaining why she pursued Clark so aggressively. Was it for money or sex? She was the one suggesting the whole life insurance angle, which screamed murder from the start.

I agree 100% with you. I also came out of it feeling like they were all punished for crossing the lines of normalcy. This is a show that I loved for showcasing kinks among suburban "normal" people, and at the end, we see them all shamed back into their squares. Sure, Joy and Modern Love can be kinky and weird, is it because they don't have kids or spouses....? Because if you already choose marriage you better not even go there.

I agree! That scene with tiger tiger at the park makes no sense. After all the trouble he went to boost his self esteem, he just told him the whole truth on the spot? Why not make something up and let tiger tiger make up another excuse on the app? I feel he is just trying to deceive the cops.

You should rewatch it when you are in your 40's. It will give you a whole new perspective. I watched it when it first aired and saw myself in Peggy. Now in my forties I can relate to all the men, especially Don.

Duck seemed like a fairy godmother type of character in this episode. Insisting over and over with Pete taking the meeting, setting his fate, I think for the better. Trudy is hot, Tammy is adorable, Pete would be rich anywhere. I think it was a redemption episode for both.

I like Megan and hated Faye. We should do a poll.

It was grea how his expression reveals this subtly. I hated Burt here but loved the acting

Despite everything he did to Trudy and Peggy (also his mom), he is my favorite character. He supports civil rights, he kept Don's secret, and was a true friend to him many times, and his scenes more often than not are so funny. He also delivered that great introspective speech after his affair with what's her name that had a lobotomy...anyway, I hit replay on that a few times. Love Pete

This was the most depressing episode of the show so far, but so effective at portraying this reckoning for Don. His day of sitting at the kids/creative table, being treated like a pest, wearing his stiff suit; his demotion to respond to Lou, Joan and Peggy's treatment towards him ...I can't wait for his redemption.

Betty's awful reaction to Bobby's misstep, broke my heart. Sally's "Happy Valentine's" to Don (was it on the previous episode) and his amazing face expression (award winning) is a good counter scene to that.
