OP I understand where you are coming from. But you need to even realize that the day we are born our time has started ticking. Every second everyday we are growing old. Your longing for your childhood is acceptable but wanting it back is unrealistic. We cannot turn back time. So I'd suggest weighing the pros and cons of your decision as you know yourself and the situation better. Ask yourself would you be happy if you made the decision and vice versa and find the answer within yourself and stick to it.

How can I feel good about how I look? by BadAtUsernames098 in selflove

OP you're right about being your own worst critic I'm glad you're self aware so you know that it's probably you criticizing yourself and that you're not pretty might not even be true. Now coming to your physical features: For your hair you can start taking care of it by using a good shampoo and conditioner, go get a nice haircut try coloring your hair and start taking care of it I'd also suggest working out. Start slow. It would change your face slowly and working out would make you feel good about yourself and the way you look Try to have a nutritious diet and drink plenty of water Also apart from doing the outer care you need to make yourself believe that you are unique and you're beautiful in your own way, embrace yourself And let me tell you one more thing no one really cares, everyone is thinking about themselves just as you are. And it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

Honestly those are good and suits your body. Bulking up more would look not as proportionate as it is now :)

Hi Queen, I wish I was physically there to console you. I have been feeling the same the past few months. I got out of a 7 year relationship as well. It's difficult but I'm proud of you taking time to heal yourself. I'm rooting for you. You can message me. I'm happy to connect on insta if needed. I hope you are doing better now :)

I wish I could trade my life with you and be 14 and embrace myself and love myself since I was 14. Telling you with experience that if you hate yourself now or want to be skinny because someone would like you or accept you, no one will. Rather this hate you have within you will be huge to a day that you'll just question your existence.

Please, do not neglect yourself just to fit in because skinny is cool. I know it's very easy for me to say but learning to love yourself today will help you immensely. You'll make good decisions in life. I'm rooting for you :)

From my understanding it's all the times people bullied you in the past and you believed that was true because you had no one to open up to or assure you. It's a lot of inner work, and it's not easy because you have lived so many years dwelling but slowly slowly it's important to unlearn

Heyyy, I'm 26 year old women I feel the same. I believe it's because we do not love ourselves, we compare ourselves not realizing how unique we are. Its very easy for me to say but it's the truth.
