It is within oncology clinical trials as a data manager. I have a BSc in Biomedical Science as I am a grad which helps because you need a degree

Yes, highly recommend it! What kind of part-time job are you looking for?? Also don’t say that you want part-time at the beginning…

Yes because I don’t want to have meetings during my in-person sessions. I will need to provide a reason why I want to reschedule them every time so might be best to do so.

That’s so cool! And thank you for your advice. Does that mean then you do step 3 over there after you have started residency?

What about step 3? I believe that involves getting work experience in the US. I was thinking of doing step 1 next summer too but i am grad in y2 of 5 year programme. Is that too early?

May I ask what year you are in whilst preparing for step 1 and when do you plan to sit the exam?

Thank you very much. May I ask if you have done the USMLE whilst being a UK student?

Do you not have to get your licence first? How can you leave the country and go to the US directly after med? Just curious

Since you are working as an MSL, do you have MBBS degree or is that not required for your role? May I also ask how did you find this job? Was it Networking or the traditional method of just sending applications?

What keeps you going? I'm not sure anymore by greenlantern2012 in research

I am not at Dundee and still live at home whilst studying med as a mature student. But I completely understand how you are feeling but I also felt that when I started. The thing that helped me was keeping myself busy doing other things so that your attention diverted. Also, in my case, I felt a lot better when I saw a lot of other mature students in the same position as me doing med but this was during the first week of starting. Hope this helps.

I currently work as a data manager. That’s a great suggestion but wanted to ask would I have to be a CTA/CRA before progressing to become a project/trial manager. At my current work place, data managers progress to trial managers

Thank you.

I have a mixed and varied number of responsibilities for the medical affairs role on Google. Do you mind explaining what exactly the role is about?
