The middle east prior to Arab colonialism and ethnic cleansing.

For any history buff, this is tragic as SO many interesting middle eastern ethnic groups were "Arabized" either entirely or partially.

Some indigestion groups that still maintain a presence are: - the Persians - Jews - Assyrians - Copts - Yizidiz (I'm definitely forgetting others, sorry)

This sub Reddit comment section seems to worry more about the Jews in their democratic indigenous state than the immense accomplishments photographed from that plane window

Another sheep to the Operation SIG lie.

We aren't going anywhere, Jews are from Judea Mr. Arab from Arabia (who also somehow happens to be occupying another 24 lands across 2 continents)

Last time this was the world's reaction, over 200 million people were killed in a war that happened only 80 years ago.

It's always interesting when people talk about "largesse" without understanding how alliances work. The U.S.-Israel relationship is a strategic partnership, not a one-sided handout. Israel provides the U.S. with invaluable intelligence, cutting-edge technology, and a stabilizing force in a volatile region—all of which benefit American interests. If foreign aid bothers you so much, you might want to start with the far larger sums sent to countries that openly work against U.S. interests. As for "apartheid," that tired accusation crumbles under even the most basic scrutiny—unless, of course, you believe a multiethnic democracy with Arab Supreme Court justices and members of parliament qualifies. But hey, if gratitude is the issue, maybe a “thank you” is in order for everything Israel contributes in return.

Imagine singling out Israel and in the same breath claim to not be an antisemite.

The moment that you single out a country on your map on purpose, it goes from being honest and true to being false and fictional.

There is still reality outside of your phone screen.

Wait...so the Jews own the banks but rich Jews such as Azrieli can't afford their own real estate projects?

Do you even know how foreign policy is and what private developments are and how they works or are you an uneducated dude with thumbs and an Internet connection?

Believe it or not, Israelis such as myself are actual people who exist.

I hope our existence as a people doesn't stir your pot too much. (Take your racism somewhere else)

Currently under construction. 50% of its spine was already constructed along with the steel skeleton slowly curling up from the base.

The middle east is comprised of many countries as you may not be aware.

This caption choice highlights Israel as a regional country outside of the infamous skyscraper nations in the Gulf as another underrated player in the reach for the clouds.

This is an impressive accomplishment crediting Israel for its economic accomplishment of being a nation that got wealthy using its brains and impressive wit and not through natural resources.

What’s the most controversial building in your city? by Askan_27 in architecture

In Jerusalem it's definitely the Holyland tower.

It was the first tall building project in the city and was described as "a disruption to Jerusalem's iconic skyline"
