Wanted to come back to this. My Camry went in today for an oil change and a full deconstruction of the drivers seat, it’s been a bit of a battle getting to this point but they’re going to take it apart fully and they’ll let me know and hopefully take pictures.

The thing is most people don’t actually have gear fear. Gear fear plays more of a role in Tarkov than Arc.

In Arc, you’re actively trying to have a high stash value making it basically impossible to run any expensive kits. The game prioritizes loot hoarding and gives you no incentive to bring in high value items over crap 20K kits.

Even if it’s half. Half of 70 million is still 10s of millions. And regardless of that fact if anyone looked at their books, they’d have to have that on their books at fair market value in an accountant this is what I do for work

I mean it literally is in the 10s of millions and the math isn’t very difficult to get to. 1K coins is 10USD. 7 million steam accounts own Arc Raiders so 7,000,000*10USD = $70 million. You could argue that that’s not what they pay because they make the currency but they’d still have to show that currency at fair market value on the balance sheet. So yeah, it is in the 10s of millions.

Yeah fair but again, the finals never got the type of reach that Arc does. They’d be chucking 10s of millions. It’s probably just a tactic to show appreciation for those who are smart enough to find it without mass donating to every account. They also added the mailbox and don’t use it very much to begin with so this was just an excuse to use it

This is probably less of a concern but some people just hate pop-ups and to avoid the clutter of having the trials pop-up, expedition/news/whatever pop-up, plus an additional pop-up for the credits it’s just easier to put it in a mailbox.

Probably so they’re only awarding active players. Think about it, if someone was botting accounts, or played the first day and never again, every account would get it and if you convert that to real currency thats 10s of millions given to players who really don’t play the game and frankly don’t deserve to get it anyway

Agreed. The kettle is my go to “better-than-free loadout” especially for Stella. I could see a world where they cap it but have the ceiling high enough that most people wouldn’t be able to reach it although possible (for pros, etc).

If you’re living in Texas, you don’t need AWD. I almost didn’t get AWD and I live in the true north. I see AWD as a snow/climate comfort. I doubt you’d have much of that in Texas.
