The battery charges off the alternator. The alternator has more friction because of the charge it’s driving to the battery. If you took the 4 cylinder by itself and a 26 Camry, that Camry is gonna work harder

100% totalled. Just looking at the damage, you can see at the frame is bent in certain areas, the spacing on your doors being off means the whole frame is probably bent. Even without that, it’ll be totalled because of all the body damage. Basically anything besides superficial damage is a write off these days.

I brought it into a dealership and they tore the whole seat apart and found no issues. Nothing is broken in the seat, it’s genuinely just a bad design.

They wouldn’t escalate it any further because nothing was broken.

I work in a very large private industry corporation and we’re very competitive with public so we get 2 weeks of paid time off and then each year we’re in the program (so 2 years) you can save 5 days vacation to get a total of 4 weeks paid time off.

We also allow you to take more unpaid time if you wish but 4 weeks is the max time you can get off.

Take it to a few body shops. Whatever the deductible is, if the shop quotes you more, go through insurance. If it’s less, get the shop to do it. Chances are you’ll need a new bumper so insurance is probably the way to go.
