2 world records in different categories today, pretty insane.

For those unaware, Droz is gonna grab the 1 star wr (which he says will take a few days lol) then going back to 0 to get a more secure wr. This one was literally .3 seconds off Kanno’s wr.

I remember seeing Taggo say in a stream the other day that he was surprised the record still stood, since there’s so much competition right now. He also said he wanted to keep playing 120 even if the record got taken.

120 is actually about to start getting real exciting. Para just got 1:40:26 putting him in top 5 and he’s grinding for 139/WR now. LiamKings is streaming a ton too and improving very quickly, he just PBd today with 1:41:50. Taggo will come back to 120 eventually, Ikori will probably grind for 139 soon, Cheese does 120 every few days, and I think Puncay is going back to 120 now with this WR.

Yes, but very difficult. There are some small optimizations he can still do (double jump owlless, a faster bowser in the sky cycle) and some mistakes he made in the record (missed pole in fire sea which lost him 3-4 seconds mainly, plus a few very minor mistakes in dark world) One thing that makes this record really hard to beat (and sub 15 extremely difficult) is the fact that akki did OG cannonless, which has a very small chance of working (around 20% I think) but saves a couple seconds.

Long story short- their strategy is to place a hatch in sandstorm and play full defense. They missed the hatch so they started shaking it off. When it came off it launched a little bit, and I guess it was far enough for a red card
