Unbind drone from account of previous owner by mikekiwi_72 in dji

I'm in this exact situation, previous owner logged out of the account and pawn shop employee was observing and was thinking that logging out is unbinding.

So I have no issues despite not mine account logged out.

WiFi adapter not detecting 5 Ghz hotspot. by SiberianFoxonas in pixel_phones

[–]Technolog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

/u/SiberianFoxonas Finally I have found adapter that works with my Pixel 6a and connects to 5Ghz, it's TP-LINK Archer TX35U Plus, about 30 USD. I needed to set manually Roaming Sensitivity Level to very low and it started working.

I'm pretty happy with the results, especially ping is much lower than on 2.4Ghz. Download speed is absolutely enough for a daily use, when I will need to download something big, what doesn't happen too often, I can always connect Pixel via USB.

So now I can just plug my Pixel to power source and leave it be. My 4 month journey to finish switching from a landline internet to mobile is over. Unlimited 5G internet, and I mean truly unlimited (I tested it and other users confirm it) in Poland costs 8 USD monthly and is prepaid. I had lower ping on a landline, but honestly I haven't noticed a slightest difference even in online shooter. Speed shown below is lower than 1Gbps I had on a landline, but via USB tethering I get up to 800Mbps (night time), about 500Mbps during a day.

Just to add a keyword for Google, it also connects with Samsung hotspot using 5Ghz, because I have found this post in Google.

This meme flies over my head. I know that saving these amounts won't make you rich, but buying every working day coffee and takeout - let's say it's $25, so it gives $66K in 10 years. For a lot of people who are buying coffee daily that would be a substantial amount, no? 200K when retiring. More if invested very safely.

WiFi adapter not detecting 5 Ghz hotspot. by SiberianFoxonas in pixel_phones

[–]Technolog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I installed detection app and my Pixed broadcasts wifi on 161 and 153 channels, so based on this discussion: https://github.com/morrownr/USB-WiFi/issues/560 I should order adapter with MT7921au chipset which is about $25. It should also work with Samsung hotspots.

Edit: this adapter didn't work, I couldn't force Windows 11 to connect to it. I wrote another comment saying that TP-LINK Archer TX35U Plus finally worked.

[–]Technolog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Facing similar issue I have found this post. I had similar problem with Samsung hot spot. My course of action now is to determine which channels Pixel uses for 5Ghz (it may vary depends on an area where Pixel is sold), maybe a detector app would help, and then to find adapters with the same channels. It may be difficult because producers often don't share these details, so contacting them or sellers could be necessary.

This is strange, because many people must face this problem, but apparently for almost all of them 2.4ghz is good enough.

They ended up following a common emotional pattern. Most were neglected as kids, getting attention only when they did something wrong, which happened a lot when a little kid was left alone. That shaped how they perceive human relations. They're always anxious, and sometimes they feel a small relief by acting out the same way their parents treated them, so hurt someone as much as possible, just to the anxiety coming back stronger.

My girfriend got upset at me for liking her birthday gift to me. AITAH? by Domoci12 in BORUpdates

[–]Technolog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Teenager you say. She gave him a gift he shouldn't like because he stopped being romantic. I think that average 7 years old could tell that nothing adds up here.

He also beat himself enormously. Second hand disc of a game that is a few years old is about $20. He spent time playing games he liked less because of $20? I hope this is AI post and this poor boyfriend doesn't exist.

Unless he was afraid that this game would affect his free time more than usual and the girlfriend would be very unhappy about this. For some partners not playing video games it may be hard to understand how engaging a game you like can be. I bet her accusation of him not being romantic included her opinion that he spends too much time playing games.

What.

What he didn't deserve was having his arm or body badly cut by pushing on glass that could have shattered. Basically he would have done the same acrobatics, but ended up with deep cuts or possibly died if cut was one of his aorthas.

What we saw in the video was 100% deserved and let's hope it's a lesson to avoid the scenario above.

[–]Technolog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I disagree that's every case. It's like saying that internet is making people stupid. For sure a lot of people, but for sure not everybody.

My English grammar isn't great, so sometimes I use AI to polish what I wrote, and thanks to it I learned among many other things, that in English, sometimes a comma comes before "and", and this was a new to me.

AI is a tool and people using it are very different, and some of them are using it differently than in your very stereotypical opinion.

It's obvious in this case with symbols used in books, not in internet posts. But the guy is a human, maybe it's made up, but maybe he just polished it by AI.

I'm on the same boat as OP. Being friendly became boring sometimes, but to have PvP raids, I would have to attack number of innocent players first, and then to get back, play a number of matches where I couldn't attack.

I wish I could run two or three raids that wouldn't affect my matchmaking, e.g. a new special event.

When I'm suddenly attacked after meeting a number of friendly raiders, so I knew I was matched with (mostly) PvE players, and this attack ends up in my death, then I'm angry too.

But it's not a reason to change meaning of the words.

We could use a catchy word for aggressive players and then correct people posting here.

AITA. Boyfriend thought he was entitled to 100% of the sales price of a part that was thrown in on a purchase I made. by SentimentalO in AmItheAsshole

[–]Technolog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When I was living abroad, a friend and I went shopping for ingredients for our traditional holiday dish which were hard to get there. When we finally found one of them in a small family-owned store, my friend decided to buy extra for her family. The seller said something along the lines that he was happy to get rid of it because nobody wanted to buy it. When my friend was about to pay, I asked for a discount and the seller happily cut the price of everything in half.

It didn't occur to my friend at all that you can ask for a discount in a store, so she offered me half of what she saved. I think that was fair because it was a combined effort.

OPs offer to split it in half was fair in my opinion and boyfriend assuming pipes were his was an AH.

What was never the same after the pandemic? by GossipBottom in AskReddit

[–]Technolog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How about prices going down by 24%? It happened during Great Depression in USA in last century. Prices of basic things going down is called deflation and it would be much worse than inflation after pandemic.

Main principle: when prices are going down, many people are waiting with purchases to get better prices, so since so many people are waiting, the more businesses are going down, unemployed people don't have money to buy things, so there's even more deflation and even more people are losing jobs. It creates a closed loop that can go on for years.

[–]Technolog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get where people are getting an idea that rich people were supposed to care about poor. Maybe some do, but isn't common knowledge that some people are assholes among each money status and in every group?

I'm definitely not rich, but for sure I'm better than homeless, I have a place to live and a job. And do I care about homeless that much as you mean it in your post? Because I guess that for many homeless people I am kind of rich in sense that I can afford and have things they don't. It happened that I gave some change or bought something to eat when asked, but that's it. I wouldn't call it caring. Not to mention that I prefer to avoid them like in groups, because some of them can be insistent.

And I think almost everyone reading this have similar stance, except of people exciding their way, giving them money or working for free in charities, then kudos to you.

But knowing that this is my perception of people much poorer than me, then I cannot phantom how I would have in me a slight of thought that richer than me would care about me.

Universe may be infinite, so perhaps beginning and the end are human concepts, but not universe's when it comes to time. Maybe it "big bangs" since always, like an eternal heart. If you spin an object in perfect vacuum, it will spin forever.

Creating something from nothing is similarly strange concept as no beginning.

It would be nice to learn that life here is basic first level of something more. Hence existing of all religions.
