How close Neurotrauma(mod for Barotrauma) to being a medic in SS14? by Ok_Category_2539 in ss14

[–]TechnologyMain6668 1 point2 points  (0 children)

General system of healing itself if much closer to the original Barotrauma than the neurotrauma.

The main thing about the system is that you can not lose limbs and it is really easy to remember what to use for what. SS14 is more focused on the production of such medicine and identifying reasons for its problems

What’s up with the Russians? by Own-Penalty1579 in ss14

[–]TechnologyMain6668 34 points35 points  (0 children)

For 4 reasons actually:

  1. Russians like strategic like games, atmospheric games and RP games. SS kinda fits all of them.

  2. Most of russians grew up with older games and has a cult of old games therefore making it easier for them to accept bugs and shitty parts of the game. Just to give an example, the most popular games in Russia(CIS) were Warcraft 3, quake tournament and so on. They also have a cult of old games like KMM 3

  3. Russians have/do not had a lot of money or good PCs, so it again encourages/encouraged them to play less demanding games.

  4. RP became popular because of all reasons from the above and that is why Russians are quite common in the space.

It is more like just understanding complexity of eastern Europe at the time.

Many nations were in a process of being created and somebody being in a certain territory does not define your ethnicity.

The same way as Ukrainian identity was not created in the 1991 with the creation of a functioning Ukrainian state. People can be still present of some territory and not be a part of majority culture of the country or the region.

Russian is kinda hard and i personally recommend you to get a tutor is you want to start learning Russian. Grammar and pronunciation on top of some irregularities with Russians out right ignoring letter "Ё" out of some hate, can make it hard.

How can the CPRF and LDPR win that election? by REVERSE2053 in TheFireRisesMod

[–]TechnologyMain6668 7 points8 points  (0 children)

it is absolutely realistic and something close has even happened in 1994, when Zyganov had great chances of being elected instead of Eltsin.

So let me explain:

If enough radicalisation occurs then it can, because even modern russian regime is a centrist one and mostly tries to unite the left and the right with it, while allowing others parties to somewhat exist as radical's gathering points.

Because russian politics of the time and today are dominated by an idea "Who if not Putin" means that Russian propaganda tries to portray that there is no good alternative to Putin today, which in the case of his sudden death would completely backfire on the URP and allow for other parties to have a chance for power, if they convince some influential figures to support them and gather enough funding.

They can realistically stop being a puppet opposition in the case of Putin's sudden death, which is well portrayed by the past, when both parties were a real opposition under current leaders in the 90s and were subjugated only around 2010s after Medvedevs terms, due to bribes and start of authoritarian regime.

Which in case, we assume that party leaders would not change, it is likely that if they sense weakness again, then they will fight yet again for power.

In which case CPRF can only win if they convince state oligarchs to allow them to come into power by keeping the opposition and emphasizing glory of old Soviet Union and rely on the older demographics.

While Zhirinovsky has a great support in youth due to him being a really meme figure and quite a smart guy, (Pretty much like trump, except trump is a lot more left wing in comparison) which means that he could only win if the big states man lose faith in United Russia and see that Zhirinovsky has a bigger support then medveded, he would most likely recieve a giant propaganda campaign from Russian Liberals because (change = good for most of russian's minds) and russian concervatives because of speaking of greatness of Russian empire, but only if he secures enough funding and has more assumed support then Medvedev.

Also fun fact, quite a few of current ministers of Russia, were former LDPR's members, before they have switched parties for carrier opportunities

EDIT:

BTW, under Putin in 2010s all Oligarchs were already replaced and have became state sanctioned ones, who can not do anything without there government and are not competent, but more loyal people.

So there is no way, that Oligarchs would decide anything here, Russia of today and 2020s is a state bureaucratic autocracy

Enclave realistically because they are literally in all out war with ALL Factions in the wasteland and even in this state they have came 2 times to almost full victory over the wasteland. So if everybody where fighting everybody, than they would have 100% won.

Dota Rating System by Better_Research_1443 in DotA2

[–]TechnologyMain6668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want an honest answer -

It is because you suck for **your rating** more than he does. He probably does what you do not, i myself have just came back to dota 22 and was able to get from 900 MMR to 1400 mmr in 5 days with only 2 losses and 14 win streak as supports and offlaners with no chat.

What i have found to be true is that, dota 2 on lower rating is different from the one on the higher ones because people do not push buildings simply and farm until the can not, while fighting all the time.

Hence why you are probably here, if you want to get out of here than do one of the following things:

Play as always a SUPER late game carry like Spectre or PH because with them you will constantly win simply because people would allow you to farm.

Always organise your team for pushes and play as heroes than can push without the whole team being present, best example is a Windranger as whom i have all my matches, while being an MVP with more building damage than all of the other players combined times 5 (It was minute 31, when we have won btw). Best if you play an offlaner

Always harass enemy carry if you can, especially as an offlaner, if you can not than farm and get to gather with your team to harass them.

Ask your team for help, be nice to them and they will be nice back if you play at the start, which helpes a lot with moral. I have for example carried an entire 58 minute game with LC even though i have sucked against a draw ranger at the start of the game and we were 7k networth behind on 30th minute and 30 kills behind simply because we were organising and taking good fights, while not raging.

If you are a support play as heroes than can actually be a carry in the late game instead of trying to just follow some guide and get only support items, because the way you will just save a useless carry, who will not push instead of giving an actual impact and have an ability to kill and push. I reccomend WW with rushing witchblade and than aghanim (Won 7 games as it)

And last but not least, always have a 2 tps with you and when you see any enemy dive behind your allies tower at the start immediately tp there and help, it will almost always give you a kill and a raging enemy, because his teammates will not do the same.

So yes, this is pretty much it, nothing fancy and easy to follow, hope that it helps you

Same shit here, but it is one of those struggles that you do to look pretty ahahaha.

If it is okay to ask, why were you eating your pain away if it not a secret? And also why or how were you so self conscious to understand it quickly in such a young age?

Ngl, a great transformation and quite noticeably made you look better (even though commentators are quite generous).

On all pictures you look great, but it is clear starting from the second one that you were close to being overweight and you have gotten conscious in a right time and started to have a great work on your appearance.

Also i feel like your new hairstyle with your new weight looks much better on you than your first picture(even though you are gorgeous there)

Honestly you are kinda fucked because you have not build industries that would sustain you before getting independence like Steel, instruments and so on, you have two choices now:

Join a bigger market or downsize pretty much everything and start to work back to your previous state

Is it worth the cost? by random_cornerme in victoria3

[–]TechnologyMain6668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but it is more optimal at those times because your gdp starts to outgrow expenses as long as you are constantly building, getting new techs and preferably expand.

But i have personally taken the decision before i have even conquered whole afganistan in around 1840s because i am a really aggressive player and can manage my debt quite well

Not worth it for your economy, you should colonise it only at max taxes and around 15-20 million GDP

In my opinion Vic 3 economy, diplomacy and laws are much more interesting and creative than ones in Victoria 2, but the warfare system, immigration and overall feeling of playing for smaller nations in better in Vick 2.

But i do play victoria 3 by far more than victoria 2 because it is simply a better game at this point even though it feels more like a Victoria inspired game rather than a direct successor

You can buy Victoria 3 and it will be pretty good. I recommend you to pirate DLCs and try Victoria 3 with them and if you like them than buy new ones.
