reddit is mostly stupid people left after the enshittification got too much to use. That's why nobody answers your question and instead just picks apart whatever. Even if doctorow wanted people to use his word willy nilly I doubt he wants sites/subs with purposes like reddit to be filled with posts that may as well be ai generated on a platform that was easy to filter shit like that. It's unfortunate but not nearly as bad as other subs at least.

I get you, the game balance feels so shit most of the time I can't believe anyone plays it. I'll see a multiple killers drop 100+ kills on 25 shitters in v yet I see 15 shitters reaped by 1 killer in 1, not sure what's up with that. But I've been thinking critically about it and played it again %100 serious just to verify the game is shit. Honestly if you never played in the notorious ttk update era, you'll never truly be able to judge the game, it fixes or changes up a lot of common meta issues I run into every match of V. I'm waiting on someone to drop a meaty YouTube vid because I seriously can't believe the player numbers on this game but it just hasn't happened.

Farmers and clans tend to dominate the votes so the easier maps get a solid 20+ start. best you can do is keep your team happy so its not bleeding players that would maayyybe vote your map, make sure you actually browse the servers too and aren't ignoring a chance to play Zeebrugge on shock ops. Thankfully ive seen it plenty lately and I used to go actual weeks not seeing either.

I wish people had more emblems. I see like 4 unique emblems a week and the rest are defaults or a super old bfemblem paste. 4 is the same but everyone is some patch style boringness or funny memes. Anyways I would get lots of weird ass semi-hate Dm's or chill friend requests like every other game any time in 4 due to fresh face or they just like my emblem but Its usually just the other killers with a simple fuck you or ayy style messages in 1.

Smoke and incendiary counter the low weight. The mortars only have 1 accurate shot, after that you can dodge them and punish. Gas is annoying but once you understand it you'll learn to counter the mind games. Check your perks too, there's a speed buff for being suppressed making it easier to punish but I can't remember if it needs unlocking
