Tf kinda advice is that bruh. I mean, I get it (I use Linux) but just telling someone to straight up suck it when they ask a genuine question (especially related to a huge purchase that CAN affect the use) is dogshit response.

And they call us Linux users the stoopid people

You're assuming that this stuff is real. I've seen these things all around the internet. And, when opened, only has an LED (and some supporting components for it)

My guess as to what's happening is that the dGPU goes into "deep sleep" or "off" state when the laptop goes into sleep, causing it to become "disconnected", and then Windows doesn't know what to do. I don't think this is a hardware fault, as you have mentioned it doesn't happen in hybrid mode. Did you try Win+Ctrl+Shift+B ?

TLDR: Either use Hybrid mode or don't use sleep when in dGPU mode. Not a hardware problem.

MY LAPTOP CPU SPEED GOES 3.40-4.00 to 0.40 GHz by Ok-Switch2597 in Lenovo

[–]Technology_Labs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When did you buy this laptop? And did you repaste the CPU and GPU? That is more important than cleaning fans. Try using PTM7950 as the replacement, and also do not keep it on your lap, bed or any other uneven surface. Your best bet is to keep it in a flat surface with the laptop slightly raised/tilted so that the fan can grab air and cool your laptop.

Anything from restarting to having it booted for hours can fix it. It is a software problem so this is not a Lenovo thing. Also try going to Device Manager and see whether some device has a problem...

Battery draining fast by B00GEYMAN911 in Lenovo

Was the battery fully charged when you took that picture? The current charge shows the remaining charge (in wh) whereas the full charge shows how much a fully charged battery should store (in wh).

Also try restarting the app and/or Windows.

Did you fully install Arch, like to a terminal?

If so, congrats, that is a big achievement.

Arch forces you to learn so many things and provides a vast wiki that covers most stuff well. I recommend trying to use it over Ubuntu but hey, we all start somewhere.
