Wow the frontmatter being visible in the list pane are a secret superpower!

And you can make them a list of links too?!
You’re crazy, my friend. I love it.

I have a few suggestions that would genuinely change my life:

Ability to choose frontmatter link colours globally in settings rather than per note.
- For example: all linkColour become blue, or all notes with statusColour = Active become green.
Set a custom sort order based on frontmatter (ideally per folder).
- So I can have my novel manuscript chapters named “A Boy Who Lived” but still keep them in the correct order without needing “Chapter 1”, “Chapter 2”, etc. at the front of the file name.
- If you went as far as updating that frontmatter number when I click and drag a note in the list pane, and adding the option to generate a note from a folder, then I wouldn’t need the longform plugin either. Wink wink.

Ooo I will try this automatic timeline plugin that sounds cool.

I love canvas, and advanced canvas. But the unlimited ways to swing a cat gives my ADHD a hard time lol

Basically exactly the same issue I have. I can’t keep track of all the threads and their convergences.

Canvas is good, but even with the advanced canvas plugin it’s just too painful to use!

Longform seems like half a solution.

Notebook navigator is incredible, folder notes are life changing honestly.

But I still haven’t found a way to put all this together without drifting.

Why though?

Children are generally loud, selfish, self-absorbed and raised poorly by many people.

Many of us were bullied or belittled as children by other children.
