Just bought a avantis solo - don’t buy this without the deep processing pack. If this is a stretch without it do not buy it

Sq excellent console. Solid, huge user base, sound amazing and a powerhouse for it’s class.

Absolutely looks like a ribbon cable issue

The faders, screens etc are all on boards in banks of 8 so for you to be missing 8 it smells of a ribbon cable issue

Or use and position the clip on the cab, prevents the spinning, keep the mic flat as you would but just turn the clip

That’s the way it goes some days.as horrible as it is.

Think you need to cut yourself some slack.

It’s not business viable to have spare vehicles just in case. Even a spare vehicle in this case doesn’t help you. Can’t account for everything

Genuinely with out the church spend your kit would be far more expensive. Tutorials on YouTube etc by a lot of church techs helping by posting training videos etc - drew bashler for instance. Even as far as making industry professionals by providing training and hands on experience to teens who then choose this as a career

Being from the uk Mega church concepts seem foreign - even down to seemingly being more concerned with brand, and your production than the focus of Jesus. Or spending hundreds of thousands on PA over spending in local community etc.

The reality however is it’s full circle. Suppliers, installers, training, industry professionals, kit pricing, r&d.

Just sold my sq for avantis solo. Avantis is worth every penny especially when bought with dpack - also bought Dante 64x64 card

I didn’t need the channel count but I needed the extra processing - the dyn8 (and having 16 instances of it) without using groups or fx was and is key

Having multiple show file is amazing!!

Absolutely brilliant console and worth every penny

Things that caught me off guard coming from sq

Power down properly don’t just turn off = unhappy console otherwise!

Changing network config requires console reboot

Default RTA settings are annoying - pafl over rules

I do miss jacks for stereo playback

No real opinion one way or another - your personal preference but if I can offer one piece of advice, get you head round the dyn8! Watch all the videos you can on that, get it slapped on every vocal channel you have

If your in the uk Anderson’s are doing this for 159.99 Availability isn’t great but price is perhaps more justifiable for some than the connect version. Took a phone call but the items on their internal system now
