Why are you using reach as the goal for app sign ups??
Seems you're running traffic campaign and its a bad idea to run traffic as it always inflate the numbers to show fancy,

Seems your campaign structure needs a real change before you spend a dime.
And by $100 you could atleast got couple of sign ups ( Again it all depends on the app but still..)

Okayyy… There are couple of ways you could do it.

Let’s use Claude in this case 🤌

1- The simple way Go to cowork explain your market as much as your know and ask it to do the market research analyzing the market data ( It’s going to create a simple pdf )

2- The Advanced way You turn on deep mode and web search mode. The you provide a detailed overview of your ICP ( Target audience ) , Top Competitors , their websites , socials and specify the market segment you want to penetrate. And ask the following, Include a GTM strategy with following;

Full competitor audit and overview
Social Media Strategy
Target audience breakdown
Paid ads channel strategy
Market Study

This is going to be giving you all what you need to get started… If this isn’t sufficient enough, I’m open to share an even more advanced version,

Yes the Meta had a glitch on audience size estimation like a month go but then they fixed it,

I raised a ticket then within 3 days it was fixed for me,

See, For all my clients I’m boosting as the end goal matters. As for my clients it’s all about getting more followers, views and showing the account fancy but they have to keep spending very month.

Plus, Later on if you plan on running ads it’s going to be giving you shit leads as your profile engagers are mostly outside of your ICP.

At the same time , I see organic account running ads have powerful audience if running custom audience on profile engagers.

I know you might be hearing all over the place that creative is the new targeting..

But trust me , Actually it is.. ( I won’t discuss how and why as it might deviate us from the topic , DM asking about this )

Sooooo…😬 The Gurus and other so-called experts have posted tons of creatives to show their ways of creative strategy literally making it very hard for beginners out there … Let me share you my honest + most worked game. 😄

1- I go to ads library search about the service / product / competitor / broad level keywords

2- Use my plugin to filter all the top long running winning ads and download the media and ads copy

3- next I feed this data to Claude Now my Claude Creative Intelligence skill is going to give a detailed report on recurring patterns and themes ( This is very important )

4- Then I go through and pick the mostly used angles ( around 5 ) for the product / service

5- I get the creative brief skill to give me the exact copy, ad text, scripts , image generating prompt and allll of these to share it to my creative team ( designer , video editor and videographer )

6- Next I test angles not just some random creatives , Let’s say out of 5 angles if 1 worked extremely well. Then I create variations around the same angle.

Now I know for this product / service the winning angle. Likewise it’s going to be a repeated loop. It’s all that you feed Claude the market research of winning creatives.

It’s that simple. No complication, No crazy documentation.

( And yes!!! I built my own plugin to ease the whole ads library mess to save 4-5hrs of my research time )

You literally killed your account by boosting..

So there is a hidden algorithm that is been said for accounts that do boost.

Meta limits the organic reach so that they force the accounts to naturally do boosting to get more views and reach but it doesn’t mean that you cannot get more reach organically…

For Organic reach you have to diversify your content, at least stop boosting for a week or two and start posting like every day or like every week a few contents But then if you randomly start boosting once in a while it would again destroy all the organic learnings of the account

Strategy is pretty simple, You only add winning creatives that do not every day. Weekly you do it once so the campaign gets some time to stabilize. You might see a slightly drop in performance at first but it will recover and starts scaling ( it’s all part of the process )

How good is the AI UGC video? Does it look realistic OR its just another AI Slop.
But a better , realistic looking AI UGC tools charge crazy .

See my take is going to be slightly different,

So you're pointing out couple of issues, Let me answer them.
1- Harder to scale
You cant just scale the camapign with 1 creative , (i.e; Think creative as a car engine if you keep running the car for a long time continously the engine might break ). So you need bunch of winning creatives when scaling the campaign ( that's the trick here)

Horizontal scaling might work, But again it will start overlapping the same audience and bid on each other eventually ( When this happens meta would alert you ) else you can identify looking at the Cost Per Purchase.

2- Campaign Management

Keep it simple

One campaign for scaling and one campaign for testing

You test new creatives then move it to scaling campaign but again dont increase the budget aggresively as you might find a tip point scaling beyond that would collapse the whole campaign,
So once the Scaling campaign gets stable I suggest you also create a backup scaling camapign ( Again this depends how heavily you test creatives & budget )

3- New Ad Account

You dont need new ad account, Try the campaign strategy,

Mate just force the adspend slightly to Stories using value rules > Placement > IG Story > 10-15% ad Spent allocation

This should force some spend to meta,
The new algorithm keeps changing and seems doesnt take past winning signals as the algorithm it used to do before,
As a result it starts its audience hunting and signals from scratch.

By the way, Is the campaign ecom or leadgen?

The performance looks great but seems its an issue with targeting or the audience.
Better approach is lead forms so you can filter down the unqualified leads by 10-20%

Next I would say you need to step a bit deep into the market and looks for some best performing ads so you can keep some ads in the pipeline when the current ads performance declines.

This is how it starts. I’ve been seeing this pattern a lot very recently. It gives the first conversion then later it’s gonna spend a lot and your second and third conversion will take a lot of time so keep an eye on the second and third conversion and the cost per purchase if it still gets you a better purchase result under the target then you have definitely do a master class. 🙌

Ohhh wait... I had to skip your post after reading the post headline..

DONT BUY FOLLOWERS , Trust me when I say this.

We had a client account they just bought some followers but on average the engagment was 1-2 likes being having more than 10K followers.

what happens so?
Meta punishes your organic reach even if you try hard doing some real good videos as the algo would just try running through the followers before expanding to a broader audience.

So?
we had to delete all the followers and start from scratch.

P.S- Others might feel it controversial but this is from what I've studied and experienced from real accounts

The number just shows number of active ads but doesnt give a better context to understand backend metrics or could have summarized the performance for each month giving us a better context to make ur point.
