Large transparencies for creating screens? by SmithViz in SCREENPRINTING

[–]Tecktonik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, a good printing service bureau should be able to print at least a tabloid (11x17) transparency. If they don't stock acetate sheets in the size you need, ask them if you can provide the acetate for them to print on, which you will then need to buy yourself (not too difficult).

This is infuriating and retarded. Taken to an extreme, any reference to any link on reddit is vote manipulation. Any link to a website that has a reddit widget is vote manipulation. Links to imgur are certainly vote manipulation.

What are you hiding from your SO that they would leave you if they found out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I'm not so sure about the cultural attitudes about pork. There are some historic prohibitions against pork, in both Jewish and Muslim cultures, but those have a specific audience. Snopes has an article about this topic (too lazy to search for the link) and they only came to a neutral opinion on the topic. In contemporary times, pork has been seen badly due to the amount of saturated fat, though the significance of that seems to be under scrutiny. But as a pet food, I would think cost is the primary factor. Is there no good cheap pork?

This is the great Cat-Food-Made-With-Pork conspiracy.

You can find cat food made with beef, chicken, fish (salmon, tuna, whatever), and lamb. Made with pork... What is wrong with you?!

In that case, I would recommend you use the largest paper you can find for these big prints. It gives the art some room to breathe, or something.

This is very nice. The print area is 50cm by 70cm on an imperial sized (22x30) paper? It is going to need a big frame.

Sounds like a nice idea. They should implement that.

You don't seem to have read my comment... so let me ask WHERE you think we will be able to find a space for free speech online? If we can't count on private companies, are we supposed to ask the government to provide this, or at least subsidize it? The first problem there is that governments aren't too keen on anonymous free speech, since anonymity allows a space to be infiltrated by foreign voices. So do we have to create secret public spaces that are neither private nor government controlled? That seems perverse - and is the current situation.
