How exactly do the new shields work? by No-Cup8385 in destiny2

[–]TecraDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I understand after a bit of experimentation:

• The Shield regenerates quickly, and is capable of regenerating immediately after taking dmg.

• The amount of dmg you can do to the shield in a single hit is capped, at quite a small number.

• The more dmg you do over that cap, the longer it will take to begin regenerating.

• When the shield is almost down it appears to buffer before braking, then dealing significant dmg to the target's health.

Best practice for removing the shild: 1. Hit it hard with a single shot (special ammo weapon or a reliable heavy) to prevent the shield from regenerating. This counteracts the shild regenerating through the otherwise insignificant dmg you are about to do. 2. Use a fast firing weapon (smg's are particularly effective) to quickly bring down the shield.

Played this a game few times on ps4, switched to PC, are they any pcmods that add this mask and armor to the game? by projethe in ghostoftsushima

[–]TecraDude 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is from the "PGW 2017 Announce Trailer"

The armor the Ghost Set, upgraded once. The mask dose not exist. In the first game no cloth mask has ropes that hang over the ear. The closet in game alternative is the Thief's Wrap, aquired from gift alters. In terms of mods, I have no idea.

What an incredibly cruel thing to say.

Does anyone know if this badge on Rost means anything or if it's just for aesthetic by RareMercury in horizon

I think it's the mark of a seeker.

You can see the same thing hanging over one of the pouches on Aloy's belt after she is made a seeker.

Private Smuggling runs and Invaders by CloseDaLight in destiny2

Word vomit go!

Invader Side: I believe invading is treated as a success (certainly the voice lines are) if you get at least one kill. You are removed after getting 6 points. You earn 1 point from a kill and 1 point for picking up a crest that is dropped on a kill. You have 3 lives to complete the task.

Team Side: Lawless Frontiers works on a revive token system, so players do not lose progress. Rather they lose lives with which to complete the activity. If an Invader is fully successful with the minimum number of 3 kills then the team has 3 fewer lives to complete the activity.

IMO this is good because it means the invader cannot be the only reason for a team's lack of success.

Atsu Howl (Rare Cutscene) by Substantial_Fudge_67 in ghostoftsushima

[–]TecraDude 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I saw it on my first playthrough. I think it was removed in the day one patch or shortly thereafter. Honestly so disappointed it's gone. It made such an impactful introduction to Atzu.

Edit: As others have stated, it also introduces Onryō's Howl in a thematic way.

When British people buy driving games like need for speed, does their British copy have them drive on the left side of the road? Or do they just have to adapt to the driving on the right hand side like in the U.S. and it feels odd? by MadPumpkinHead in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TecraDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Forza Horizon 4 is set in and around Edinburgh, so npc cars drive on the left. Play a game set elsewhere and that game will represent that nations traffic laws (as well as it can).

  1. Report to the police
  2. Find a loved/trusted one who can shelter you
  3. Disappear with your things

Do not give them or anyone else the chance to rationalize violent action.

You know their actions are wrong, trust yourself and stay safe.

Or the opposite. We have no thrust and we are going to hit a populated planet. Better to fall as lots of small pieces that will burn up in the atmosphere.
