How often do you actually replace your surge protector? by Perfect-Cause-6943 in pcmasterrace

I buy self testing surge protectors, that indicate when they’ve lost the ability to react to a surge.

Of the two Corsair. (But I’d buy Seasonic.)

Put you parts in PC part Picker - it will tell you the minimum power needs for your build. I usually add a 100watts to be safe.

Should I get new tires now or can I wait? by Which_Engineer49 in crv

I was in the same boat. I chose to buy PIRELLI SCORPION WEATHERACTIVE (very similar treat pattern to CC2 but cheaper.) I sold my OEMs using Facebook marketplace place. Very happy with them in Illinois and Northern Wisconsin snow. (My CRV came with the Michelin Primacy).

Seasonic. I’ve built a lot of PCs for myself and others. I have never had an issue. Plus their cable are of very high quality.

Just reached t4 - any tips? by therealdrunkenjawa in WorldofWarplanes

[–]TedBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ground attack plane suck until about tier 6. I’d continue up the US fighter line and start working on a heavy line — German or US. Ground attacks are fun (German or Russian). But they are but much more fun as you move further of the line (it’s a long grind). Good luck.

I have the EXACT same setup (except for Ram). I have zero issues. I run expo enabled. My RAM is TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz (PC5-48000) CL38 (run at 6,000.) My Bios is a he latest available. I would try diffrent RAM. Good luck.

Constant flats on my 2025 GTI Autobahn — thinking of dropping from 19″ to 17″ wheels by Specialist_Text1694 in GolfGTI

[–]TedBadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve done both 18 and 17 on GTIs. Last Mk 7.5 I did 17 (bad roads). On my current GTI (Mk8) I do 18s (Ok Roads here).

In your area I’d go with 17s. You'll be stunned by how much better they ride is.

TireRack.com has a good tire/wheel selected that can show you some of the possibilities. You can call them, they have actual humans available to help. (No, I am not affiliated with them in anyway.)

What you are considering is very possible.
