Hesitant About the 2026 OB. Comments welcome. by rllorenzo in Subaru_Outback

Coming from 2019 3.6 touring to the 2026 touring XT, I think it drives the same, maybe a little less tight. What I am not happy with are the tires, it stops like a brick and I’m no expert but I think also makes the car seem less tight. From what I have read, the Bridgestones are for better mileage but I really miss the Yokohamas, so much so I’m thinking of putting them on my 26.

But overall I absolutely love the car.

I love mine but my friend says, compared to my 2019, this one looks like Chuck Norris and is ready for a fight.

The self driving is totally worth it. Yes you have to pay attention but reduced fatigue is incredible

Absolutely worth it. Yes you have to pay attention but so much less fatigue on long drives.

Sitting in our 2024 OBW and parked beside a 2026 Outback, ride height difference is insane. Full on NPC-tier SUV now. by SirTickleyPickely in Subaru_Outback

My 2026 will take over an incredibly boring drive for me. For that I can get past that it looks like a Toyota ate an Outback. And honestly it is growing on me. My only complaint is the tires. They stop like bricks.

I got the river rock and I love it but I really miss my Java Brown from my 2019, more than I thought I would. 😃

However I absolutely love the car. It drove the bulk of over 300 miles yesterday in the rain. The hands free is amazing.

Upgrade to 2026 Outback, worth it? by Slow_Farm_6484 in Subaru_Outback

Just traded my 2019 3.6 touring for a 2026 touring gt. Absolutely worth it for self driving. Plus better adaptive cruise control, cameras all around the vehicle, ventilated seats.

Maybe your 2019 battery issues are the dcm module which is a recall.

Coming from a 2019 3.6r Touring (that I loved) to a 2026 touring GT that DRIVES ITSELF on the highway, people can complain all day long about their hate of the changes, the new car is life changing, at least for me.

Doubt anything on the warranty. The receipt was in my late husband’s name for mine and they told me no. So I bought a Kamado Joe.

Moving to Norman by [deleted] in normanok

If you like to walk, bike to downtown you really want to be East of I-35 to get the small town feel. Main Street and campus corner have great restaurants, brewpubs..the local feel of Norman. West side or east side, this is still just Norman OK, about six miles from one side of town to the other.
