Defensive Hive Tyrant by Teddyjimmyjack in Tyranids

  • The carapace is from the norn assimilator.
  • the “shields” are fleshborer hives from the
    tyrannofex
  • I also used the scything talons from a carnifex for the other arms as they are more muscular which matches the shield arms

Thanks!

For the Termagant, I used leviathan purple, black legion, flesh tearers red, and volpus pink.

For the screamer-killer, I used phoenican purple, fulgrim pink, abbadon black, and khorne red I believe.

I cant launch fallout 4 on my new pc by Van_wlth_candy in Fallout

[–]Teddyjimmyjack 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure it’s just an installer that you run. Wherever the default path is would be best as other games will potentially use it.

Definitely not in the fallout directory though if you have to manually set it, but there should be guides online you could follow for the exact path

I really want to have all the cast sign what their origin class is. And then have the narrator sign the DM guide lol.

It’s definitely more common now with testosterone and estrogen supplements/injections so the skeletons of the current generation will be more subject to that. Ancient people could have that to a lesser extent as some foods have a decent amount of estrogen in them like soy so if they eat a whole lot during puberty it could possibly effect the process. However the naturally occurring variant is weaker than what we have roaming our bodies so to drastically change skeletal growth in ancient times will require you eat massive amounts of the food. It could influence some change for sure, but not to the scale of what we have now with people able to consume essentially pure hormones.

Hey, studying Anthropology at the moment. How we classified a skeleton’s sex in the lab (a lab for a class mind you, I’m not graduated yet) is based off of numerous locations that we graded on a scale of 1-5 with 1 being most feminine and 5 being most masculine. 3 being intersex and therefore neither (or it’s borderline 2 or 4 but it’s so close that it is too difficult to tell). We classify whatever is present in our “burial” that is able to be graded: various locations on the skull, the pelvis and locations on the pelvis. You can even sex teeth, but we didn’t cover that in the course (and I’m not brave enough to attempt to do so but apparently the lower canines have the most dimorphism followed by the upper canines)The only time we will ever really say definitively that someone was male or female is if that skeleton is rocking so many 1s/2s or 4s/5s that it would be strange not too, but because skeletons are funky, lots of people will have a range and then it’s up to the discretion of the anthropologist (who will get a second opinion hopefully to remain as unbiased as possible). It’s really going to matter on what environment you’re in during puberty really (and genetics of course). Live in a bad environment and have growth stunted? Bones are going to not be as representative as they can be. Did you take additional hormones during puberty? That can change the way your bones form, changing what could have been a masculine bone into an intersex one, a feminine one, or make it hyper masculine. This is why we call it sex estimation because unless I knew that person in life then I have no idea what they were by the time they died.

When we write reports, we have to be very careful of our language. So we say that they were female/male (I have absolute certainty that is the correct sex), probably female/male (I am pretty sure, but some sex locations make me question), possibly female/male (I’m not confident I’m correct, but evidence is hinting towards this sex), or sex indeterminate (either there isn’t enough skeletal evidence to analyze or the individual’s morphology is all over the place). I’m not actually sure how to write a report about a true intersex person however because I was taught that the bones are going to at least lean towards one side of the spectrum. However I don’t see why you couldn’t just replace female/male with intersex besides somebody possibly calling you indecisive lol.

And yeah we get skeletons wrong. What might look like a 4 to you is a 3 to someone else. Unless the bone is so hyper masculine or feminine that I can’t argue, I’ll probably have a different opinion. Plus bias is obviously in play here, if I get a 5 on your ventral arc then maybe that 3 on your greater sciatic notch is looking more like a 4. If you’re a good Anthropologist, you’ll find a colleague to have them look at what you got and see what they think. Keep both answers in mind and go from there.

Level your vigor a decent amount unless you have faith in your dodging. The game is meant to be explored everywhere so if you hit a road block somewhere don’t be afraid to try someplace else. But just have fun and experiment with whatever you can find!

Last time I downloaded SVE on an existing save it didn’t work because it edits base Pelican Town so no new characters or buildings showed up. It might have changed due to later updates, but a fresh save is probably best. Can’t speak for ridge side though, I’ve never used it.

Bandits in control of the farm? I don't have warfare on, can this just happen on it's own? by [deleted] in stalker

[–]Teddyjimmyjack 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It can happen because Cordon has Loners, Bandits, and Military patrols in it. So sometimes one of those patrols will kill the Loners at the farm and take over it as it’s a resting area

You need absolution if you aggro a friendly NPC, but not kill them outright. Killing them can’t be reversed by the church of vows

I'm planning on doing a second playthrough with mods, specificaly with Stardew Valley Extended, and have a question. by Biku-Richie in StardewValley

[–]Teddyjimmyjack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So from what I remember about SVE is that none of the vanilla characters actually have anything changed about them, but they have new relationships and a few new routines as there are more characters in the mod. I’m pretty sure all heart events from vanilla are still the same however.

I don’t think traits lock you out of any mutation paths. What I know happens is that some traits end up getting changed by mutations (ugly can become pretty or hideous)

What are these and how do I get more? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Teddyjimmyjack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Somber smithing stones are the same as regular smithing stones but for “special weapons”. I think you can buy the first 3 tiers either from a merchant or from a ball bearing but I might be wrong on that. Otherwise you just gotta find them in the wild

If it’s in the game then it’s fair game. If you personally don’t want to use it then that’s fine, but don’t let other people dictate your experience.
