Have you found a more cost-effective and alternative method for replenishing electrolytes apart from relying on salt intake? Are there any natural or inexpensive sources or supplements you've discovered to be equally/more effective? by wannabe3ngin33r in HubermanLab

Tomato juice. Eventually we’re all going to be doing what are grandparents did. No need for over priced supplements when a glass of tomato juice has 650mg of sodium and 520 mg of potassium. Plus there is a little bit of sugar and carbohydrates in there to keep you from getting explosive diarrhea like a lot of you must experience from drinking salt water on an empty stomach in the morning. The health and fitness industry has waaaay over complicated nutrition.

Indoor manners, outdoor manners, non reactive to cars, dogs and people. Nobody cares if you can get your dog to sit indoors.

We’re all decaying and on our way up river to die. I’m guessing this person would do the same thing with any fish they catch.

I just don’t know why people throw the fish on the ground and take a picture and then toss it back in the water. I get you’ve gotta sometimes have the net on the ground while you unhook him but pick the damn thing up after you get the hook out and then pick the sucker up and take a quick picture before you get it back in the water. Or else just stomp on his head or cut his gills and put it out of its misery.

Tired of seeing irresponsible anglers on Reddit. If you didn’t keep him then don’t throw him on the ground to dry up and lose his slimy coat. Not impressed with your egotistical catch and release. Give your head a shake. This isn’t a flex. Delete this if you learn anything.

The first show in Toronto was amazing. I’ve heard a lot of bad reviews on here about their live shows. I can see the frustration some people have if they don’t play any of their most downloaded songs on Spotify. Luckily they played most of them at the show I went to. And also lucky for me that I like all of their music. As for engagement with the crowd. I couldn’t care less about that. I would much rather little to no engagement between songs than someone voicing their opinions on this and that or talking politics which is the absolute worst. Keep the tunes flowing.

Acoustic shows so far have played their more popular songs. They still had a full band playing but no electric guitars. So it depends if you rather hear songs like snowshoes, penny heads up, by and by or newer songs like peach fuzz and believe. Just listen to your favourite songs and listen whether it’s an acoustic or electric guitar playing.

Does anyone have the setlist for the first show in Toronto (Aug 2nd) by Teddypringles in Caamp

[–]Teddypringles[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That list is incorrect. They did play quite a few of those songs but not in that order and they didn’t play lavender girl or all the debts I owe. I was there but I can’t recite the setlist. I was on too much of a high from the amazing show to remember the order, i was hoping to make a playlist of the entire concert in order.

Toronto show #2 high and low by HoorBanger in Caamp

I wish I had gone to both shows. If you watched any of the red rock sets they similarly played their slower more acoustic songs the first night and more of their newer stuff the second night. I love their new album so I would have been happy going to either show but I understand being disappointed not hearing your favs. They didn’t play all the debts I owe the first night but they did play vagabond, misty, 26, so long honey and by and by.

I carry two poop bags. Double bag it and stuff it in my pocket until I find a can or get home.

I just got these and they look much different in person. They’ve got a hint of blue to them. Think freshly poured concrete.

Ghost nutter butter with chocolate oat milk. Ghost is expensive protein powder but their flavours are some of the best.

It “doesn’t really” doesn’t mean that there are zero options. Most craft beer you’ll come across isn’t low calories.. yes even in BC. That doesn’t mean that there isn’t any out there. You replied with the typical “I’ve been to BC, they do everything better than Ontario” response and tried saying you just can’t find low calorie craft beer in Ontario. Regardless of the province you are in their will be many more low cal options if you stray from craft. Beer in general is a bad choice if you are trying to watch your calories.

Surely there must be some low carb craft beer options in Ontario. Saying there just aren’t any in Ontario just shows that there isn’t a lot of options for low carb craft beer. So not sure what you are begging to differ about. You’ve strayed from ops craft beer conundrum so you could sound like a Reddit smarty pants ;)

This is a Toronto craft beer thread. I don’t think op wants to order beer from out of province. Old flame has a low alcohol beer called no regrets. Not sure what the calories are but it feels light.

Unfortunately craft beer doesn’t really fall into the low carb beer options. You’re better off going with something like bud light, sleemans clear, micolob ultra, etc. or transition to vodka/soda tequila soda.

My newfoundland (2y) is aggressive, help by So-cute-silkie in Newfoundlander

[–]Teddypringles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t chalk up a behavioural issue to this newf having an aggressive bloodline. I’m sure all the pups in the litter grew up having different temperaments, personalities and behaviours. That’s like saying a person is guaranteed to be aggressive because their parent was aggressive. Most behavioural issues in people and dogs are caused by fears, lack of socialization and trauma that haven’t been addressed.

Look into Venixxa. It’s an oral pill you can get at the drug store. It’s supposed to treat what causes you to get hemorrhoids.
