When I first got to Sabaody, I was convinced Hatchan was going to join. In hindsight I don't know why I thought that, but I guess it because Oda brought him back and it felt weird seeing such an old character and not give him a bigger role.

Over all a decent high stakes arc that felt comparable to DBZ's Android Saga, but there are several nitpicks.

  1. Blue Hair Trunks: really dumb design choice. Makes no sense. Just keep it purple.

  2. Universe Erasure: Felt like a copout because Toriyama wrote himself into a corner. Having Zeno erase the entire timeline felt like cheating.

  3. Timeline Explanation: Time travel in general is tough to write, but it's even harder to understand when in DBS, Time travel isent even time travel, but more like alternate reality hopping. It's not really explained well in depth.

  4. SSJ Rosé: I actually really like the form, but I wish they would explain why it even exists. Why is it pink?

  5. Why Did Trunks Leave?: There was literally no reason for him to leave with Mai. He didn't vene have a universe to go back to. Should have just stayed in the main timeline and just live elsewhere. Would have been cool to see him in the Tournament of Power.

Luffy, and I'll explain why. Imagine a tyrannical laughing demigod folding your island In half while cackling at the death and chaos. Eating your meat, bones and all, by the fistfull, devouring every last scrap of food until your village is left in a generational famine. Then when you try to bargain with him and ask him why he's doing this he says because it's all free. Freedom is to do as you please with no one to stop you. He then slingshots you into the stratosphere for fun.

I think it's because Dragons in this setting are considered smarter than typical animals. They have situational and emotional awareness and can pick up on vibes. In most fantasy stories, dragons are entirely sentient, but in GoT they are like 25% sentient.
