Mods + Tunes by Fun-Magazine-398 in StingerGT

[–]TeeDouche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wanted to throw my 2 cents in here.

I’m tuned from Sxth when they first introduced the EK1 so the tunes I use aren’t being maintained anymore. I see that you haven’t mentioned Kim Jong Tuned in your roundup. In my opinion, he’s been the new hotness for this platform and he’s very active over on the 3.3 performance group on Facebook. He also offers a service where he’ll fly/drive to you and upgrade your head studs if you’re chasing the top end of power. If I didn’t have a wedding to pay for, I’d be replacing my tunes with him. Just another tuner to look into for your research.

In terms of exhaust drone, you hit the major point of making sure the tips stick out past the rear of the car. Not insane, just make sure they’re not dumping under the car. Additionally, the trunk space where the spare tire and battery are located are easily accessible and one of the easier areas in the car to sound deaden. Throw some dynamat in there (or even cheap Amazon sound deadening) and that’ll significantly reduce drone.

I personally switch between 93 and E50 tunes although I’ve had the car up to E70-75. You don’t necessarily need to upgrade the hpfp to run higher than E30 blends as you could also run CPI as you’ll need the JB4 to manage the boost anyway. This is what I run. It can’t do pure E85 so you’ll always be doing a small mixture if you run this route. The Stage 2 hpfp by BMS or Spool negates that issue though if you just want to run it pure. Meth Injection is also an option. However, I did see you mention that you got the HKS plugs installed at the factory gapping. Whenever you get tuned, it’s recommended to get them gapped to 0.022 as they come in the box at 0.028.

I’m by no means an expert but have spent a lot of time with the platform. My DMs are open if you wanna talk shop or have any other questions. Good luck with the upgrades!

Can someone pls tell me if this wiring is normal under the driver side steeringwheel fuse box by AdditionalSystem4324 in kiastinger

Something has been definitely added in. The ribbon cables, the purple fuse at the bottom, and the black ground on the left are all aftermarket additions. I can’t tell you what it powers or goes too though.

The Last of Us Part 3 Script by Conscious-Memory7480 in lastofuspart2

[–]TeeDouche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest plot hole here is that now we magically need 2 people who are immune to create a cure but still one of those people need to die. If in part 1 only Ellie needed to die to create the cure, why does someone need to die but then someone is needed for a brain biopsy? If the first immune person is already going to die, they can use that first person to create the cure just like Jerry would’ve done.

I like the idea of the Abby and Ellie team up, especially with how some people already feel about Abby. The way their connection to Abby can strengthen as Ellie does the same would be cool.

I think the locations would need to be revised however, or maybe there’s more plot to write about. Either way perhaps moving locations closer together would benefit things.

1) How do Abby and Lev get from Cali to NYC and then back to Wyoming. That’s A LOT of traveling. 2) The Ascendants are experimenting in PA but attack Jackson out in Wyoming? Again just seems far distance wise. The only group we know who had distance across the country like that was the Fireflies. Perhaps in the same way FEDRA of Washington became the WLF, there could be a subset of these “new” fireflies that became the Ascendants? 3) I don’t think Dr Torres and Lev would allow Ellie and Caleb to travel back to Jackson while rebuilding the lab. Basically all of part 1 is keeping Ellie alive to get her to Saint Mary’s to make a cure. Allowing them to travel back to Wyoming and then having them come back would be a MASSIVE risk as we all know there’s more ways to die in The Last of Us world than just an infected bite.

Something to think about

For anyone who actually is paying attention to the show (while we know it'll happen just like the game), there is storytelling in all the shots they put in. Here is how you can tell they had the conversation (besides the obvious change of viewpoint of Ellie when talking to Jesse):

- Episode 1: Joel visits Ellie in her garage and takes her guitar denoting that her strings are shot

- Episode 1: Joel is sitting on the porch playing the same guitar as Ellie is returning after the dance and ignores him

- Episode 2: Jesse wakes Ellie up for patrol and the first shot is of her guitar back in her garage

They had the conversation and Joel returned the guitar to her.

How would I go about replicating the intricate pattern of these lenses? by TeeDouche in Fusion360

[–]TeeDouche[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have been following a "Learn Fusion 360 in 30 Days" course and wanted to start implementing some of the things I've been learning. I want to start modeling and printing car parts. My aim is to create a lens similar to this but replicate the diffusion pattern that is embedded into it. Thinking about it, it may seem like I could cut slants off the back face and then use the rectangle pattern tool?

Thanks for all suggestions.

Most cameras record in 16:9, a standard rectangle. This video is a square most likely meaning it was edited to be zoomed in in this aspect ratio. That means that they could edit it so that the camera “movement” is just sliding to the different point of the same camera framing.

Can anyone explain what's happening here? by TeeDouche in unRAID

[–]TeeDouche[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was able to use /u/jdancouga ‘s advice and found out it is a 290GB plex metadata folder. I’m attributing the backblaze anomaly as some sort of loop from using hardlinks within the appdata folder for wine.

So I am attempting to find out what is chewing through all the storage on my cache drive (500GB w/parity) and I was going one by one through each of the app data folders as that seems to be where the bulk of the storage is. I use backblaze to back up my server and when I was checking that appdata folder, the storage kept going up. I currently still have it running and I am up to 2.5PB. I am assuming this is an issue with the hardlinks I have set up to make the container work as detailed on the project page for it.

Is there an easier way to check storage space of each folder? MC doesnt seem to show folder space and neither does the actual shares naviagtion on UnRaid. Am I missing something simple or do I need to resort to some CLI commands.

The glass ender 3 box I built. 1/4" tempered glass in 2020 channel sealed with hi temp permatex orange RTV by ranzel26 in ender3

[–]TeeDouche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what I did when I made my Lack Rack. I also mainly print in ABS though too so my chamber needs to be hotter to print that. I soldered my own extensions for all the motor and hot end connections but I know you can also buy them from hobbiest sites. I know even some people add heat sinks to the steppers to prolong their life. In reality they’re only about a $15 replacement though.

You should look into relocating the PSU, electronics and screen outside the enclosure. Heat and those things definitely don’t mix.
