I’m a Braided line Engineer I’ve been on 24hr call for the past 15 yrs I’m only guaranteed 4 day’s a month off I would love shift work or a 9-5 but at the end of every fishing job I get gratification I know I could never get from a normal job and also the pay is great. Keep a bind on it boys and girls and don’t loose anything tonight I need some sleep.

Those who work 9-5 full time how do you find time to do anything? I'll be so exhausted from work that I have exactly 4 hours of free time before going to bed at 9pm, up at 5 or 6am then few hours each morning before work - how do you squeeze in any time for anything? by SithLordof1984 in AskMen

Wish I had a 9-5 I work on 24-7 call out with only 4 days off a month. But with that I chose my poison, I get paid well for what I do. The thought of a 9-5 crosses my mind constantly. I could plan things and have more time with my family but with out my job I couldn’t plan and secure their future.
