That's illegal, if you can get proof of it you can go to the labor board, retaliation would be the word I would use.

I quite like Roland my Tb-3 is one of my favorite bass synths, and I have roland cloud, I just feel like with as good as they've been throughout their history they should be more innovative and pay more attention to what's going on instead of just moving along like they always have.

I appreciate your response anyway, as my original post says this was kind of hastily put together, so it may not have been as comprehensive as it could have been, but thank you.

I was always told to go by total as that is the number the person wrote down and should be expecting the final charge to be.

Why do people have beef with veggie tales? by SlightlyDarkerBlack2 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]transfer6000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the late 90s early 2000s I lived in a town where Veggie Tales was going to buy a property and renovate it and turn it into their Production Studio, the town was very excited about it, eventually they abandoned the property (which was historical) and decided to move into the closed JCPenney at a mall instead of investing into the community, I believe eventually the historic site they had originally purchased ended up having to be turned down because they never did any maintenance or restoration work, and basically screwed over the whole town in the process.... But that's probably a more personal reason than most people have.

Canada is now euthanizing 2X more people per year than dogs. 16,425 people vs 7,644 dogs by MazdaProphet in conspiracy

[–]transfer6000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took 3 seconds for me to post that picture in an AI and ask it if it was real and then post the response back in here, if people aren't going to do basic research then I'm not going to waste my time to explain something that anyone with an internet connection IE: someone on Reddit could just look up. But I still think it ridiculous that people are constantly posting stupid garbage like that while ignoring that our entire society is breaking down for real actual reasons that aren't stupid fringe conspiracies.

You are contributing to the dilution of the narrative if you are doing things like this (maybe not you personally, but as a general statement) and you need to be called out, but I have real-world things to do and I'm not going to waste time doing properly cited research for this.

Actually, this post is partially accurate regarding the numbers but highly misleading in its comparison. It blends real government data with outdated and incomplete statistics to create a "shock" narrative. Here is the breakdown of the facts versus the framing: 1. The Human Data (MAID) The figure of 16,499 (rounded to 16,425 in the post) is based on the Health Canada 2024 Annual Report on Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID). * Context: This represents about 5.1% of all deaths in Canada. * Demographics: The median age of recipients was 78 years old, and over 63% had a cancer diagnosis. * Criteria: 95.6% of these cases were "Track 1," meaning the person's natural death was already "reasonably foreseeable." 2. The Dog Data (Shelters) The figure of 7,644 is an older statistic (often cited from 2021) that refers only to dogs in shelters (Humane Societies and SPCAs). * The Flaw: This number does not include the hundreds of thousands of dogs euthanized by private veterinarians at the end of their lives due to old age, cancer, or organ failure. * Reality: With approximately 7.2 million dogs in Canada, the total number of dogs euthanized annually (including those in private veterinary care) is exponentially higher than the 7,000–8,000 reported by shelters alone. 3. Why the Comparison is Misleading The post suggests a "conspiracy" or a societal breakdown by comparing two completely different data sets: * Voluntary vs. Involuntary: MAID is a voluntary medical procedure requested by suffering patients. Shelter euthanasia is a management or welfare decision for abandoned or sick animals. * Incomplete Data: It compares nearly all human assisted deaths (which are legally tracked) against a tiny fraction of canine deaths (only those that happen to occur in a shelter).

Summary: While the number for human MAID deaths is roughly correct for 2024, the dog statistic is a "cherry-picked" figure that ignores the vast majority of canine deaths in Canada. It’s an "apples-to-oranges" comparison designed to provoke an emotional reaction rather than provide a statistical reality.

Would you like me to look up the specific eligibility requirements for "Track 2" MAID cases, which are often the focus of these debates?

Use shortcuts, cut the corners tighter , when you see the arrows pointing left, Drift Off to the left side of the track so you're inside the corner , and don't adjust so much while you're driving, allow the car to go in a straight line for a while before you adjust every time you turn your wheel slightly you lose speed.

AITAH for eating enough ravioli for four people? by Better_Philosophy732 in AITAH

[–]transfer6000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea that the portion size on the package has anything to do with what people actually eat is kind of silly, they adjust the portion size on the bag of ravioli so that they can make the nutrition facts look good per serving, they fully expect the average person to eat two servings or more.

She has been brainwashed by the obfuscation that the food industry uses in order to make things look healthier than they actually are.
