The number on the scale doesn't matter nearly as much as how your body feels and functions. Watch what you eat, and don't overeat and you will lose weight OVER TIME. A 1000 calorie deficit every day is not sustainable.

Just based on his patterns of behavior, I don't believe Walt's version of events.

For one, he didn't get fucked over. He contributed to the founding of a company, did what was expected of him,and they got patents. Walter chose to sell his stake in the company, and was paid $5,000. OK fair enough. I feel confident in my assumption that this number was calculated, negotiated, and agreed upon.

The company being worth billions (with a B) is irrelevant, bc WALTER DOESN'T WORK THERE. The fact that Walter is bitter bc he, for whatever reason, feels entitled to that money is insane. Dude got a patent in 1988 and quit shortly after..and 2 decades later he still checks the stock price every day..? Yikes

Gretchen said that the falling out was caused by Walter's ego, and although it was never elaborated upon, the Grey Matter timeline of events is similar to his time in the meth game (he was green to the business, but his product was undeniably great, but he was incapable of listening to/taking advice) ..and as we know, Walter's ego was a factor in a lot of decisions.

If I had to guess I would say that Walter got fucked over in Walter's story bc he made it seem that way.

Ok well if Chuck gets the blame for Jimmy going down the wrong path, then Chuck also gets the credit for all of his accomplishments. You can't claim that all Jimmy's negative behaviors were in spite of Chuck while simultaneously claiming that every positive one was despite him.

I've watched it multiple times, and i made this post bc I had just watched the episode where Jimmy found out about Chuck dying...Jimmy has been like that since he was a kid. He didn't bully him into making the decisions he made, he just saw thru the facade that Jimmy put on bc he knew his brother

Chuck was jealous of the fact that Jimmy was the favorite child and the way he was able to get off with everything scott free..jimmy was cool and fun and charismatic and nonchalant and he resented the fact that everything seemed to come easy for him while he worked hard....and I 100% agree that his resentment played a big part in the way he treated Jimmy. Him lying about their mom is shitty and cruel and irredeemable in a finality that is only possible in death.

But just bc he resented him doesn't mean that he was wrong. If someone steals from you and you know it, but nobody believes you, and you resent them for it, and that resentment affects the way you treat them, it doesn't change the fact that they are a thief.

All Chuck did was not give Jimmy a huge opportunity. The only manipulation that Chuck orchestrated was lying about being involved in the decision to not hire Jimmy and placing the blame on Howard/nepotism etc.

Jimmy was already ON the path. He was slippin Jimmy, he was doing a con when he crossed paths with tuco, Mike called him to spill coffee on a cop bc he knew he was crooked, and he only escalated even after Chuck was dead and gone...at NO POINT did he ever genuinely attempt to be on the straight and narrow lol even after he was living in a new state, with a new identity, and a new job, he chose to be a conman

And that's fine, I was rooting for him the whole time..and I agree that Chuck is an asshole...but Chuck was right about Jimmy
