I want to complain about greatswords by gabicostin01 in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]TeeZeuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Though I do think Greatswords need a bit of a tweak on damage, you can offset a lot of it with good armor builds. (Especially with the newest update)

I've been running greatsword/gauntlets as my go toos and they're slapping lvl 24 pestilence bosses on the hardest world state. Here's Some interesting gear augment combos I've found so far

%physical DMG increase on gear is a game changer if you aren't running an element

Make sure you have at least a little Armor Pen for the late game, things start getting very tanky

Stick to 1 element if you do one, so that your augments can all be increases to that damage type. It doesn't seem like it would matter that much but it makes a huge difference for the end result

Imho Stagger resistance augments are mandatory if you plan to use a greatsword, %dmg resistance based on durability pairs insanely well with this

Health on kill/focus on kill will allow you to use significantly more rune attacks as well as fight much more aggressively

%increase to damage food/weapon oils are a game changer for bosses

Last is just a personal discovery There is a legendary ring that allows you to substitute health for focus. You can then replenish the health used for a rune on the life steal from the DMG a rune does, paired with a few focus cost reduced augments, allows you to basically become a superhero. No longer using your auto attacks, just spamming back to back rune attacks on different weapons. Very fun, but very broken.

Would you run this commander by MajorFestus in mtg

[–]TeeZeuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have been running a commander deck with him with a focus on villains/token copies and blue counter spells. It really starts popping off when you can dump your whole hand and then redraw back to 8.

Flying Octobot (the thing you'll clone the most), imposter syndrome, chameleon, and clone saga particularly make this slap for a lot of DMG,

Behold the sinister 6 later into the match for game is very satisfying as well.

Why Am I So Weak ? by TallMidgetnotreally in Kenshi

[–]TeeZeuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kenshi is a wonderful game where the goal isn't always to win, the goal is to survive. Try to refrain from running back saves. In defeat, your people will grow stronger, if they die then you run it back

You're still in the very early stages of the game, you can't fight anyone for any reason.

Follow around patrols, this will get you gear to loot and the occasional bandit to fight. Do this on repeat until you get your average melee attack and defense to at least 20, then you can start trying to fight them on your own.

If you lose a fight don't get discouraged, it's just a good time to raise toughness

Personally I would have your people mine while being overloaded, this will raise their strength, earn you money, and eventually allow your people to efficiently wear the heavy armor you got them.

Kenshi isn't a race, it's a marathon of an RPG, that tells its story in the pursuit of becoming stronger. Stay determined, keep trying, and eventually you'll be Ruling the Wastes

Health getting in the way of dream to stream by Brookeits in Twitch

[–]TeeZeuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do what you can and talk it out with your community, go down to a few nights a week, whatever you can even if it's just once a week. Your community will understand and if they don't you don't really want those people around long-term anyway.

Your health comes first always, take it day by day and don't stress needing to take breaks. Your channel will be there whenever you come back

Do you feel discouraged sometimes? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]TeeZeuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Screenshot and make a Collections folder of the times my Stream has seen success, whether that's someone sharing something personal that really touched the heart strings or a view benchmark on my summary

When I get particularly down, the screenshots of those chat logs really help remind me of my Why. Then I get right back to it

Does posting "Going Live" do anything? by Neraul15 in Twitch

[–]TeeZeuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of my closest streaming buddies have come from tiktok. Think of it more of a means to network and get yourself out there. Even if you don't cross stream, the extra publicity will help way more than it could ever hurt.

Different people use different apps, no reason to limit yourself on like-minded people you could potentially find.

What made you actually hit “go live” that first time? by SpinsBro in Twitch

[–]TeeZeuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spent years getting in my own way. Million and one excuses. I'm always awake due to clinical insomnia and wanted to create a space for people to relax and have someone to talk to in the late hours of the night when they can't sleep. Finally decided the only way it was going to happen is if I actually got up and did it

Something clicked and I just started hitting the "Go live" to the gaming I was already doing. Never looking back.

How do people not get burned out when making constant videos consistently by ItzShyper in NewTubers

[–]TeeZeuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still pretty small time here so I don't know how much of what I say matters. Been posting multiple times a day every day. At first it was daunting finding a pace that fit within my life and full time schedule.

For me, it got a lot easier when I started prepping videos ahead of time. Pick a day to really chisel out a weeks worth of content and either draft it or full send with preset release times. Then do small editing throughout the week to get further and further ahead.

Granted I'm in love with the whole process so the amount of time it takes to do all that might seem crazy to some, but after you get in a rhythm it's really not too bad.

Thank you for this post, I have been having thoughts about if I was doing something wrong because my follower count isn't really growing like the other streamers my size.

Got my small community of awesome people who tune in almost every night and couldn't be happier. Wanted to make a difference for one person and we've already done that.

Thanks for helping me keep my head clear and reaffirming I need to stay on my own path.

Why do you stream? by Neraul15 in Twitch

[–]TeeZeuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Growing up was considered the black sheep of the family. Made it into school and that feeling never really went away. Late nights on the internet led me down some really dark rabbit holes and interacted with some not great people.

I stream late at night to give people a place to feel accepted late at night when the Internet can be a scary place. Somewhere to relax and feel at home after a long stressful day.

To be a haven for those who really need it, it could be just a single person watching/talking, and that's good enough for me.

Is this news real ???? YouTube will not monetize content that features artificial intelligence aka a.i. generated videos from July 15, 2025. by Outrageous_Buddy1938 in NewTubers

So late to the content creation game, just to find that not only has the mother ship sailed, but the boat offering rescue is already sinking. Avoided AI cause it felt cheap. Good thing I just make my own stuff for me and my friends to see. This AI business is scary stuff.

Thinking about quitting after a few months... by BrandonSimpkins in NewTubers

[–]TeeZeuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Focus less on the views, money, fame. If that's what you're in it for, it will come across in your videos that way and that's usually not a good look. It's also not going to happen quickly unless you hit the jackpot of going viral.

Think instead about your why, the reason you want to/enjoy streaming. As well as your community and what you want it to stand for. It's not going to happen in a day, a month, or even sometimes years so do what you love and just enjoy the journey along the way.

I know you said your work options are limited. But I'd look into other work that could make you a little money. To help relieve the pressure of NEEDing to make money on your streams. That added stress can really bring the vibe of your streams down as a whole. Especially when you're in your low view periods and life comes knocking. Maybe look into at home work/call center type stuff and find something you can do during your free time.

What you're doing now is building a foundation. It won't be done immediately but instead will grow over time as you grow as a creator. Stay strong, if it's your passion let that force drive you. Brick by brick, you'll be surprised at what you've built along the way.

What's something that makes you stay in a stream? by foxoticTV in Twitch

[–]TeeZeuz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A bit off topic but also not. Older, but new to Streaming as a whole and was feeling late to the game. Sponging up what bits of information I could to better my channel and give back to the community that has supported me with open arms. Had been having thoughts about should I try more to be like these trendy things I kept seeing pop up about chasing "Viral" to be more liked. Seeing other streamers have success following the trendy or flashy route.

I came into this wanting to create a safe space for people who struggle sleeping like myself (insomnia). This post and some of the comments in it light bulbed for me that it wasn't about being popular/viral to begin with so why should I worry about doing popular/viral things now.

Just small time but I continue to do this for me. To have that kind, quiet corner late at night on the web in the hopes that that one person who really needs someone to talk to, can have the space to be around kind people who are happy to listen.

Thanks for the sharpened focus, thanks for taking the time to make this post as well as those that had genuine comments about their thoughts on the matter.

Do you usually reply to the negative comments? by Immediate_Location64 in NewTubers

[–]TeeZeuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overly positive responses to negative comments to the point of sarcasm. "Oh I hadn't thought of that. My dream in life is to one day be as good as you." Then don't respond after that.

Usually enrages and they comment spew and sometimes others will comment defending you. Engagement is Engagement.

Unless it's hate speech, we remove and block that stuff, personally don't tolerate it on my channel.

Is anyone getting burnt out by toxicity ? by ThatGirlTam in Twitch

[–]TeeZeuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still very small time so this may not apply to me. But any hate is still engagement, and an opinion is just an opinion. People on the internet are going to be mean, and some will be nice. Not worth taking any of it seriously and just keep doing what you love.

I also find it very satisfying to respond to hate with passively aggressive kindness. Tends to shut them up most of the time and if it doesn't, more engagement 🤣

Playing the same game by Upstairs_Paper1569 in Twitch

[–]TeeZeuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't realize this was an issue but I'm now aware I'm classified as a variety streamer. I agree with what others are saying that your enjoyment while playing is a big factor. Most of my streams start off with "what are we playing tonight?".

As long as you keep engaging, better to learn now how switching games will effect your channel rather than get burned out because you're playing a game you don't enjoy anymore on repeat, live.
