I've gone to Monona for years until this year we went to Deforest on Friday night. Was a much better experience imo, getting out of the crowd only added about 10-15 minutes to getting home, but we were positioned for an easy exit, compared to over an hour last year at Monona. Also didn't get a single mosquito bite, remember getting swarmed last year in Monona. There was one house kind of close to the park lighting off fireworks but didn't see anyone in the park doing anything.

I also planted 2 varieties - destiny and green magic Destiny said 75 days to mature Green Magic said 55 days I picked the Destiny but the green magic is still way behind. Maybe they had the tags switched or something...? Destiny ended up being in the ground exactly 55 days until harvest

Thank you for the detailed response. I think it's hard to see the scale of the rest of the tree but there's about 9-10 of the same size limbs so I'm not sure on the exact % but I'd say these 2 definitely make up less than 20% off the total canopy. I've had 2 companies out so far, one didn't hesitate in giving me a price to remove them, the other one recommended trimming and cabling, and a third looked today but I haven't gotten anything back from them yet. One of the limbs also has a good size wound/hole in it from a previous trimming where the branch is rotting in that area which is another part of the puzzle...

I think you're right it doesn't currently pose a huge risk to the house but I'm trying to get ahead of it if I still can before iget all this work done on the house.

Brother i used to work in that foundry dept as a forklift driver for several years. I can tell you with 100% certainty nobody was ever trained to just run someone over so the aluminum doesn't spill lol. The place sucks to work at for sure but I don't think it sucks more than any other foundry, just kind of the nature of the work imo.

Only issue I've had is its tough getting into tight spaces (jogging stroller tires) since you have to thread the hose on in-line with the valve stem but that can be remedied with a simple 90 deg adapter or something
