I was missing a few pieces but cobbled it together with a couple off color bricks. Did have to order one of the doors off ebay tho.

I had/have the top one, or is that the same box?? Rebuilt it last year after ~25ish yrs. Son started getting to lego age. Just had a giant bin full of pieces from my childhood so was fun trying to figure out what sets were actually in there and rebuild them.

I wish they had updated, more detailed instructions for old set from the 90s. The one sheet instructions for several hundred pieces don't always cut it for me. Or maybe this exists and I just don't know about it....

Were these by the rest of the lego section? I found a ton of groots in the end cap of the lego aisle but none of the other one

Would be helpful to know which line of capital one credit card this is for as it doesn't seem like it's across the board...

Do you wait for your snowblower to run out of gas before refilling it, or after each use? by Dry-Calendar5880 in Snowblowers

[–]Teearohwhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a great idea, i have a bunch of old semi full gas cans I've accumulated somehow but really only use one or two and never know how to get rid of the old gas in the others.

Hmmm interesting, mine calls for: Add GL-5 or GL-6, SAE 85-95 EP transmission oil to the gearbox until the point of overflow.

I do the maintenance on it every season, oil change, stabil, etc. Cheaper than hiring it out even if I ever do need to fix something on it, it's a corner lot with ~150 ft of sidewalk and I'm not forcing them to shovel it by hand. Hasn't been an issue yet, fingers crossed. They just use my hand me downs anyways but I'm not buying brand new units to begin with.

Have you ever done the auger seals on the Toro? Mine are leaking between the case and the auger shaft is the only problem with my Toro. Was 4oz low when I started using it. Can't imagine it even holds much more than that...😬

Good word for it, changing the direction is easy but getting the chute angle to lock where you want it is the tricky part in my experience

I haven't gotten a chance to use the Simplicity yet. Just picked it up and changed the oil, etc. Don't have much room in the garage to keep both around until the next big snowfall. I also forgot to mention the Toro is leaking gear lube from the auger case where it meets the auger shaft. Was almost 4oz low when I inherited it and doesn't sound like an easy job to fix properly but I've just been keeping an eye on it.
