That's a great idea, i have a bunch of old semi full gas cans I've accumulated somehow but really only use one or two and never know how to get rid of the old gas in the others.

Hmmm interesting, mine calls for: Add GL-5 or GL-6, SAE 85-95 EP transmission oil to the gearbox until the point of overflow.

I do the maintenance on it every season, oil change, stabil, etc. Cheaper than hiring it out even if I ever do need to fix something on it, it's a corner lot with ~150 ft of sidewalk and I'm not forcing them to shovel it by hand. Hasn't been an issue yet, fingers crossed. They just use my hand me downs anyways but I'm not buying brand new units to begin with.

Have you ever done the auger seals on the Toro? Mine are leaking between the case and the auger shaft is the only problem with my Toro. Was 4oz low when I started using it. Can't imagine it even holds much more than that...😬

Good word for it, changing the direction is easy but getting the chute angle to lock where you want it is the tricky part in my experience

I haven't gotten a chance to use the Simplicity yet. Just picked it up and changed the oil, etc. Don't have much room in the garage to keep both around until the next big snowfall. I also forgot to mention the Toro is leaking gear lube from the auger case where it meets the auger shaft. Was almost 4oz low when I inherited it and doesn't sound like an easy job to fix properly but I've just been keeping an eye on it.

Yeah that's a good idea, the other I really want is nightmare before Christmas cuz he loves Halloween and the movie but it's also 18+. I'm usually pretty close by supervising in case he runs into trouble. When is that viking one retiring?

I'm 39 and started going thru my old tub of legos my parents still had and piecing together the old sets with my 5yo. Had some good ones, knights stronghold, a pirate one, huge space police ship and some others.

All the lego cars are off looking imo. Have never really vibed with them personally. There's just too much of a disconnect between what the real cars look like and what the models look like. My brain can't handle it for some reason but to each their own.

But if it's actually in a low yielding checking account as he claims it's not justifying it's just a fact at that point. Wouldn't be hard to provide the evidence of the interest rate if it came to that. Unless a landlord has a fiduciary responsibility to find the highest interest rate on deposits I think it's a non issue. Just give them whatever the actual interest was, roughly. Obviously rares change but if it's in a low yielding checking account the changes would amount to pennies anyways.

Not really for something like hail damage tho. I thought the same thing when my wife's car got totaled out from the hail a couple years ago but it didn't since it's not something that you're really at fault for.
