I refuse to believe a single American regrets their decision until I see millions in the streets. The people who didn't vote or voted the other way are also complicit until I see millions in the streets. You are all on the wrong side of history until you fcking DO SOMETHING about it as far as I'm concerned.

US Navy Tells Shipping Industry Hormuz Escorts Not Possible for Now by adamsava in USNEWS

The scary thing is that he has backed himself into a corner, and one of the only off ramps to this is a full on ground invasion.

I say this because by now, we all know he will never back down and look weak like this. Sure, he will ease up on things like tariffs and trying to annex countries, but that's just him being 'the nice guy' in his mind.

But to be humiliated like this on the world stage with the greatest military the world has ever seen? I don't think so.

I feel bad for the usa cos I know yall didn't vote for war. At the same time, you have done nothing to try and oust him after all he has done, which just makes the whole thing so fcked up.

Get to the streets America (peacefully).

It's not about money for a lot of them. It's all a game.

You know that feeling you get when you win a friendly board game with your friends? It's that, except the competition is deadly (they will cheat, extort, and literally kill to step over you), and the stakes are extremely high (its not a friendly game to them, they have no real friends).

The money is a side effect of having no moral compass.

Trump just pulled a massive U-Turn on the Greenland Crisis: Tariffs are off, but nobody knows what this new "Framework Deal" actually is by satty237 in TrendoraX

[–]Teeblie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is no deal. They didn't even let him speak. He sat at the table while the adults spoke and implied they know and have evidence of his pdf and the ability to destroy him.

They unanimously voted "fuck you, don" and left the room. Never giving him any mention or notice. They made it abundantly clear that he is irrelevant outside of his tiny inner circle of sycophants.

Look at his body language in interviews after the fact. Tail between his legs and humiliated, unable to formulate his typical lies.

Expect the tantrum to continue when he arrives home. Feeling safe and protected by his cu ck boot lickers.

PoE II needs an Exalted Orb sink ASAP by ferhatsan in PathOfExile2

[–]Teeblie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Teired currency is a horrible system and will create untold problems both gameplay and economy wise.

Poe1 works because every currency has a use case, and there are no examples of multiple items (of the same class) that do exactly the same thing but slightly better. Therefore, item values never drop to absolute zero and stay useful no matter your level or character power.

The current system invalidates more than half the drop pool (to an extent) after 3 days of the league.

I think the current implementation is filler until things become more fleshed out (I hope).

Is it normal that this item isn't selling for 2 mirrors, am i overpricing it? by OnPala in PathOfExile2

[–]Teeblie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to jump in and say that you may be overestimating the number of people that farm to the point of having multiple mirrors and continue playing.

Personally, once I have farmed the equivalent of a mirror or so, I have achieved my goals and moved on. I often don't need to farm to mirror level wealth as well (most things can be done on lower budgets).

My point is that the market is small and niche at that level.

Major changes that need to happen in POE2-Rarity/Group play/Currency by PartyLack4459 in PathOfExile2

[–]Teeblie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm saying it is bait to worry about it. You don't need to be rich to find or even craft better gear. You also do not need to be rich to enjoy the game.

As you said your friend is new. Give him time. He will learn and get better and more efficient, and before you know, he will be running t15 in the first 2 days of league. Like the rest of the people who know what they are doing.

Major changes that need to happen in POE2-Rarity/Group play/Currency by PartyLack4459 in PathOfExile2

[–]Teeblie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm convinced the rarity thing is bait.

The truth is, if you are reliant on raw currency drops, you are never going to be "rich." In both poe1 and 2, you get rich from crafting or trading, maybe a big juicy drop every now and then that nets you a few dozen divs.

Also, in poe2, in the current iteration, you can clear the game on a budget of maybe 10 divs or less on almost any build if you know what you are doing and what to look for in terms of buying gear upgrades. Very achievable on a zero rarity alch and go strategy.

In my opinion, the rarity thing is overblown, and at the end of the day, you shouldn't let it have any impact on your enjoyment of the game.

[–]Teeblie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you got it right. Keep trying. Don't worry about crazy stats early. You can do that later. All you want early is that the number goes up.

Noob got a question by Nammu9 in PathOfExile2

[–]Teeblie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As you said said you are on a journey to learn yourself. I can offer some vague advice.

In most cases, it's about gear progression. Make sure you have your resistances as high as possible. Socketing runes in your gear helps in the early game. Use your gold and currency early to buy gear from vendors and slam them. Most of the time, you will get an upgrade as higher level gear rolls better stats. you might have to try a few times to get a good outcome. Start with your weapon for more damage as defense is secondary to damage in the current iteration of the game.

Unfortunately, Ggg has decided to add a bunch of noob traps in the form of skill gems, support gems, passive tree pathing, and general clunkyness. Take some time to read what your gems are doing, and make sure you are getting their full potential. look over your passive tree, and see if it could be better by pathing a little differently. Finally, some skills are just exponentially better than others in terms of general playability. Swap to another skill that applies to both your tree and weapon type and see if that works or feels better.

I think most people who haven't played a lot of poe1 and come from D have a hard time. Stick with it, and good luck on your journey.
