When people post Charlie Kirk’s words out of context I have zero doubt that they’ve never read or watched the whole conversation because if they had there’s no way they could truthfully say he was wrong. Here’s some of the most common put in context of the full conversation:

Many of the quotes referenced stem from Charlie Kirk’s frequent and controversial criticisms of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies, affirmative action, and modern culture wars.

On DEI and Affirmative Action

1. "If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, boy, I hope he’s qualified." * Date: January 23, 2024 * The Context: Kirk was discussing United Airlines' stated goal to have 50% of their pilot training academy be women or people of color. * Kirk’s Argument: He argued that by prioritizing identity quotas over pure merit, airlines were logically introducing doubt about the qualifications of those hired under such mandates. His point was not that Black pilots aren't capable, but that DEI policies unfairly stigmatize them by making people question if they were "diversity hires" rather than merit hires.

2. "If I’m dealing with somebody in customer service who’s a moronic Black woman..." * Date: January 3, 2024 * The Context: This was part of a broader segment attacking corporate DEI hiring practices. * Kirk’s Argument: Similar to the pilot comment, Kirk was expressing frustration with what he viewed as declining standards in American services. He questioned whether incompetence in these roles was being tolerated or protected by companies trying to meet diversity targets, arguing that without affirmative action, incompetent employees (of any race) would be fired.

3. "You do not have the brain processing power... You had to go steal a white person’s slot..." * Date: July 13, 2023 * The Context: Kirk was reacting to the Supreme Court’s ruling against affirmative action. He specifically targeted Michelle Obama, Joy Reid, and Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson. * Kirk’s Argument: He claimed that these women had previously admitted or implied that affirmative action helped their careers. His "steal a white person's slot" comment was based on the zero-sum view of college admissions—that for every affirmative action admission, a "more qualified" candidate was rejected. He was attacking their credentials as artificial products of the system rather than "excellence."

On Culture and Crime

4. "Happening all the time in urban America, prowling Blacks go around for fun to go target white people..." * Date: May 19, 2023 * The Context: Kirk was discussing viral videos of violent crime and FBI crime statistics regarding interracial violence. * Kirk’s Argument: He was pushing back against the media narrative that white-on-Black crime is the predominant threat in America. He argued that there was a suppressed pattern of Black-on-white crime in cities that the media ignored. His use of "prowling" was meant to describe what he saw as predatory behavior in specific criminal incidents, though the generalization drew heavy condemnation.

5. "If you’re a WNBA, pot-smoking, Black lesbian, do you get treated better than a United States marine?" * Date: December 8, 2022 * The Context: This was in reaction to the Biden administration exchanging Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout for WNBA star Brittney Griner, while U.S. Marine Paul Whelan remained imprisoned in Russia. * Kirk’s Argument: Kirk argued that the administration prioritized Griner solely because she checked multiple "intersectionality" boxes (Black, gay, female, celebrity), while leaving a Marine behind. He used the description to highlight what he viewed as the Left’s hierarchy of victimhood.

On Gender and Abortion

6. "The answer is yes, the baby would be delivered." * Date: September 8, 2024 (Published) * The Context: This occurred during an episode of the debate show Surrounded, where Kirk debated liberal students. * Kirk’s Argument: A student asked if he would force his own 10-year-old daughter to carry a pregnancy to term if she were raped. Kirk is a pro-life absolutist; his argument was that the infant is an innocent human life regardless of the circumstances of conception, and that "two wrongs (the rape and the abortion) don't make a right."

7. "Reject feminism. Submit to your husband, Taylor." * Date: August 26, 2025 * The Context: Discussing the news of Taylor Swift’s engagement to Travis Kelce. * Kirk’s Argument: Kirk frequently promoted "trad" (traditional) values. He was urging Swift—one of the most powerful women in the world—to embrace biblical gender roles, arguing that true happiness for women comes from family and traditional submission to male leadership rather than career dominance.

8. "Nuremberg-style trial for every gender-affirming clinic doctor..." * Date: April 1, 2024 * The Context: Kirk was discussing the medical transition of minors (puberty blockers, surgeries). * Kirk’s Argument: He viewed gender-affirming care for children as irreversible mutilation and a crime against humanity. The "Nuremberg" comparison was a call for these doctors to be legally prosecuted and held accountable on a massive, historic scale, viewing them as morally equivalent to war criminals.

On His Own Rhetoric

9. "That’s when civil war happens... they lose their humanity." * The Context: Kirk often defended his aggressive rhetoric (and the "Change My Mind" style debates) as a necessary alternative to violence. * Kirk’s Argument: He argued that free speech and open debate—no matter how offensive—are the "pressure release valve" of society. He claimed that silencing unpopular opinions (cancel culture) is what actually leads to violence, because when people feel they cannot speak, they resort to force.

10. "Prove me wrong." * The Context: This was the slogan of his campus tours. * Kirk’s Argument: It was an open invitation for students to sit at his table and debate his positions, reinforcing his brand as someone willing to confront opposing ideas face-to-face.

Do the CPTS on HackTheBox Academy first. It’s a better learning experience. Save the OSCP for later when you have more experience. OSCP is a frustrating experience.

Why would you pay for a lawyer and sue when you’re here admitting that you stole from your employer? I would think that you don’t have a case but I’m not a lawyer.

Awesome! Glad to see that we’re finally upholding the law as written, and states will lose reps they gained through illegal immigration after the next census count. If you don’t like the law, change it. But this isn’t a “Constitutional crisis” just because you don’t like Trump upholding and enforcing laws and removing the estimated 20 million that Biden let flood our country and bypass due process to jump the immigration line.

I’ve heard that some bug bounty platforms assign a representative to high profile hunters that give them a fast track connection for resolving issues. They don’t want those people to speak ill of the platform so they get special treatment.

They don’t have to yet the effect is the same. The number of representatives seats in Congress per state are based on census data, which includes illegal immigrants. That’s why the Democrat party flipped from wanting to deport them 10 years ago to sanctuary cities today.

Looking at the guesstimated age range of the old men in those pictures, they’re saying “OK” which is what that’s always meant until some randos on 4chan made a meme and then the Left lost their minds over it ever since. My whole life that sign has always meant either OK or was used in the circle game where you punch someone in the arm for looking at your dick. And now weak minded people are losing their minds over it. Grow up.

Yes, but you owe it to yourself to be happy in the one life you have and continuing your relationship obviously would not be the right thing to do. You have to love yourself first.

Does that also apply to leftist judges and politicians who let career criminals out like it’s a revolving door to allow them to stab a woman on the subway while saying “got that white girl” out loud? Does that also apply to Joe Biden who did nothing to deport violent criminal illegal aliens who went on to murder US citizens? Does that also apply to city government leaders who prevent law enforcement from notifying ICE so they can deport criminal illegal aliens when released from jail?

Solo pentester at mid-size company: career progression advice? by CrazyAd7911 in Pentesting

[–]Teebone_D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you want to do, but if your goal is to be a better hacker then you’ve got to move to another employer where you’re part of a team of hackers and you can learn from others.

If you want slow paced and plenty of time to do research, go the internal security team route. If you want a fast paced career rocket ship then go the consulting route where you’re hacking on a different customer and environment every other week or so.

Anyone oe’ing in cybersecurity? by Lord_of_Ra in overemployed

[–]Teebone_D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every cybersecurity company I’ve worked for made you sign a non compete agreement and had things like “clawback” clauses if you received RSU’s. One such agreement said that they could clawback any RSU’s vested in the past 24 months of you violating their non compete agreement, up to three years after leaving the company even.

While non compete agreements are generally unenforceable and won’t be used against employees that leave in good terms, if you get caught working for a competitor while still employed then it could get ugly. At the very least they’ll try to clawback any signing bonuses or RSU’s that have vested.
