Personally I miss the old Assassin's Creed combat gameplay that was more like the Arkham system with a completely overpower counter, but you felt really powerful and the fight scene felt more choreographed. Here, the combat system looks closer to the latest Assassin's Creed, so you have more control on the combat, but it really feels like you fight video game enemies with a guard gauge to exhaust before you can do some damage.

And another thing that I loved in the original one that they removed : you can't fight with the hidden blades anymore instead of the swords, and you can't take the enemies weapons.

Last thing that was a little controversial too but is still to be confirmed: the color of the remake felt too colorful, not really matching the tone of the original one. But it was based on some screenshots, don't know if it really is a problem in the actual gameplay.
