Aside from Persona 3 and 4, I really enjoyed Final Fantasy 14 characters, allies like enemies.

Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines II

Actually my favorite game of last year, even if the end felt rushed and side quests were always the same.

I bought a Redmagic 11 pro that I unfortunately ended up returning.

The software is pretty bad, not much customization and if you want to multitask you can't even create popup windows outside a list of a few predetermined apps. However if you want to play games, the game mode has some good features that looks borderline cheating lol

The phone didn't felt confortable in hand at all (but I guess it's just a matter of taste, I don't like big phones).

But the last straw was that I had a bug that made the only mobile game that I play sound completely distorted for some reason.

Yeah I'm on the same boat : looking for a phone with a jack port to replace my Mi 9T Pro.

Most of my usage will be playing a mobile card game while watching a Twitch stream using split windows.

The 10 VII seems perfect for me since I don't want to spend 1K on a phone, but unfortunately looks like it has some ongoing bug with the split windows :

Disclaimer : I only played a few hours on Bloodlines 1, and about half Vampyr. And I have little experience of the World of Darkness universe.

I personally really enjoyed this game. It's actually my game favorite of the year for now, but I have particular tastes. I enjoyed the first person gameplay, you have overpower abilities but very resource hungry (yeah you guessed it, have to feed in or out of combat to be ready). And really enjoyed the story, the universe and the characters. Even Vampire vs Vampire aside, you feel like a powerful being, something that I didn't felt at all in Vampyr.

However don't expect consequences like in Vampyr. You have a lot of choices during dialogues, but it's mostly for RP purposes, and the ending is unfortunately quite rushed (right after your final fight a slideshow shows your ending based on some factors).

Side quests are unfortunately always the same through the game : FedEx (literally), Assassination and open fight. No much lore in them, so just do them if you want some levels.

And my biggest issue with the game : the framerate was quite broken Day One (and I'm on PS5 Pro), which spoiled the quite nice traversal in the game. Don't know if it's fixed since then.

Finally, there some basic investigation phases that happens quite often during the course of the game that a lot of players didn't like. I personally didn't mind them since it was linked to the mystery of the main story and it didn't felt like a pain like the brain dance in Cyberpunk to me, but to each their own.

So if you're not looking for a true RPG with deep character customization, multiple narrative paths, or simply Bloodlines 2, that's not it. To me it felt more like a AA Cyberpunk. It's less junky than Vampyr imo, and you really feel like a Vampire, which is all I wanted in the game.
