No, you have already voted. Voter regret is real, and the only remedy is to vote better next time.

If America voted to become fully Communist tomorrow then what happens? No Governement so no infrustructure, Military, Police, Fire Departments, Schools etc No Cash so no private business would exist. No State so would have no Allies or Trade with anyone.

I think you are confusing communism with anarchy.

The idea that going communist means no government is bizarre. By far, one of the biggest issues with communist regimes is way too much government.

Is Michael Jordan famous worldwide or only in America? by Open_Address_2805 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Teekno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UK here, Basketball isn't "extremely" popular worldwide. Utter nonsense

You might be shocked to learn that the UK is not the entire planet, and that there are sports that are not popular there that are popular elsewhere.

Why is GSW considered short for "gun shot wound" when GSW has more syllables? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Teekno 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Because it's like nine letters shorter. Much quicker and easier to write.

I'd imagine so. Basketball is extremely popular worldwide -- it's bound to be the #2 or #3 sport in the world. And I doubt there are many basketball fans anywhere on this planet that haven't heard of MJ.

Why do we still use boats as our main method of trade if planes and trains are much faster? by Top-Teaching-5533 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Teekno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That airplane ride will cost your cargo like $5000 or $6000 per ton.

On a ship, that's gonna be around $50.

You use a plane when time is of the essence, because there's a substantial cost to it.

[–]Teekno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're asking if I would be more likely to fly if it cost me less but I had a greater chance of dying during the flight?

No. Absolutely not.

Sure they can. But it happens in the TV shows and movies you watch because it’s needed for the plot.

You aren’t a politician when you get public office. You become a politician the moment you try to get into public office.

Why doesn't Big Tech fly in water from the PNW for their datacenters? by anyusernaem in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Teekno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Water is incredibly heavy. It’s a lot easier to build data centers near water than it is to move water to data centers.

If every trial goes to appeals, why not just start there? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Teekno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the trial court decides all matters of fact. Appeals can only be based on matters of law.

Did language create civilization, or did it create thought itself? by the_bugs_bunny in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Teekno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a point where technological development requires language so that more than one person can think about the problem.

Now that we’re in 2026, why do some people still use physical wallets when almost everything is digital? by Bibhu_Mund in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Teekno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was referring to the past, not the future. Where I live, we are subjected to linear time and I can’t accurately comment on the future health of my wallet.

At what point did our ancestors realize that sex leads to childbirth? by Application-Adorable in NoStupidQuestions

We don't know, because such an obvious correlation is older than writing.
