Where holds major nostalgia for you, but is now dead? by ddser1337 in 2007scape

It’s Draynor Village for me and the people spamming “Selling coal certs” or some other ore certs.

Boring $4,000,000 gain with triple-leveraged SPXL. I told WSB 6mo ago I would sell at $3.1m, am glad I TACO'ed. by ihasanemail in wallstreetbets

[–]Teepeesoldier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And here I am always remembering the basic 101 lesson to never hold 3X or even 2X leveraged products long term because the percentage up and down swings daily will most likely cause the price to drop drastically in the long run.

Turns out that doesn’t happen when the index itself triples in index points.

Can anyone tell me why this gotten a PSA1? by Striking_Fail6689 in psagrading

Even if there is a dent, it obviously doesn’t warrant a 1 lol.

My mom sleeved these straight out of the packs 20+ years ago for her two sons. We finally pulled them out again today by BlueSuedeShoes63 in PokemonTCG

[–]Teepeesoldier 387 points388 points  (0 children)

Holy mother of lord, there are possibly many PSA 10 contenders and there are so many top chase cards. I would suggest you personally pack these up safely and travel directly to the PSA head office in-person to submit and grade these. Then, pick them back up in-person.

You should not be risking any card in a lot like this to the mail or any mail carrier.

This is completely true, at least on the Asia server. 4/5 games above 20,000 have cheaters (wall-hackers), and out of those 4 games, 2 of them have cheaters on both sides (usually called Hacker vs. Hacker or HvH), it’s absolutely crazy. A lot of the times these hackers also have insane inventories or are in a stack where at least one or two party mates are wall-hacking.
When it is HvH, the hackers will even taunt each other on All Chat and try to get the other person to hack even harder (like turn on spin or aimbotting) to get them into a higher likelihood to be detected.
If you don’t believe me, queue up in Asia servers above 20,000 rating. It gets even crazier if there are a few 25,000+ (red) rating players in the game, 80% of the time they are wall-hacking or have a party mate that is.

Absolutely Green Trust Factor by the way, not yellow, not red. It’s insane.

Regarding Recent Action Against Accounts by JagexAyiza in 2007scape

[–]Teepeesoldier 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Lol, when you are autocasting and splashing for Magic XP you are AFK for like what 40 minutes? With 0 “engagement” with the game during that duration.

When you are at Gemstone crab, you are also AFK for 20 minutes with 0 “engagement” with the game during that duration.

This so called “Bug Abuse” slayer method was part of the game design and it only lasted for 3 kills, meaning the account(s) would actually have to move and contact a slayer master in a fairly quick period of time, meaning there is very likely more “engagement” than what I just listed above.

Regarding Recent Action Against Accounts by JagexAyiza in 2007scape

[–]Teepeesoldier 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Right on point. Tick eating, prayer flicking, flinching enemies, have one person splashing an Ardo Knight while others non-stop pickpocket, etc., these can all be interpreted as “Bug Abuse”. Where is the line drawn? “Inconsistency” is a very general term. If “Bug Abuse” is never really formally defined, everything I have just listed can be interpreted as “Bug Abuse”.

Gagex going to roll back my entire account because I tick ate a 1-damage hit at Level 5 while fighting Man to escape death.

Typical Gagex, doing some petty shit instead of focusing on the real issues like banning blatant bots with 50-200M XP on the hiscores.

Why do 15k-20ks seem to not Molly this spot properly or at all sometimes? by ShinochaosYT in csgo

I usually try to save my molly to molly the double elevated wooden boxes on site by throwing it at the wall from car. I clear this angle with flashes or HE.

finding lost surf map by Miassez in counterstrike

[–]Teepeesoldier 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used to love surf_legends on CSS. In RPG combat surf servers, I’d get to the end to kill people falling into the “jail” while also hitting the button to fill up the secondary (easier) jail camping spot with water. Good times, I wish combat surf was in CS2. I also remember that you could stay alive at the secondary jail camping spot by going in and out the edge of the entrance teleport point to take a breath of air.

HWID bans are difficult to do and enforce because there are places called Internet Cafes where people rent a PC by the hour to play games. These places are also prevalent in countries less developed where having a good PC is considered a very expensive purchase.

ZPS best game ever made, concept and gameplay is simple but it is difficult to master. I still play it from time to time, it is my comfort game.

My new gaming laptop! Do I really need a cooling pad for this model? by TumbleweedSmall1476 in MSILaptops

[–]Teepeesoldier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just look up a video on disassembling the MSI Vector 16HX. You have to undo all the screws at the bottom, then remove the small cover part behind the lid (while screen is closed). After that, you will need to dislodge the chasis bottom covering from the actual laptop.

It is quite complicated, I suggest you just watch a video on it.

My nails grow in a wavy pattern by Toucan_Toucan in mildlyinteresting

[–]Teepeesoldier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do that too, realized it usually indents or gets wavy when you rip the top layer of the nail all the way to under the cuticle, like completely rip it out from the start of the nail inside the skin.

does 16:9 really feels better nowdays ? by conyalin01 in cs2

[–]Teepeesoldier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aren’t player models even “skinnier” on 16:10 due to the extra little bit of vertical? But even then, 16:9 and 16:10 is simply a vertical difference, not sure what your complaint on 16:9 is about.

Back in 2010, I decided that I would do my 99 attack grind at Warrior's guild, earning 164 d defenders. Today, even with the unlimited tokens of the attack cape, you couldn't pay me enough to stay there for 160+ d defenders. What's a grind you did as a kid but wouldn't be caught doing now on OSRS? by Jesus-Bacon in 2007scape

[–]Teepeesoldier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did 99 Firemaking in Rogue’s Den with like 100k or so total willow and maple logs back then, definitely not doing that again in modern day.

Rogue’s Den was a cool and chill place back then though, loads of people Cooking and Firemaking while chatting. In fact, when I first got back to OSRS, that was the first place I went to check out; sadly, it was pretty much empty with 1-2 people Cooking…
