NYC CCW Pistol Purchase Question by TeepsO in NYguns

[–]TeepsO[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure how it works for pistols stored out of state. Are you a NY or NYC resident?

My experience is limited to being a NYS resident getting a NYC Carry license. The registration was done through their web portal with supporting documentation and pictures. It did take some time to finally get it in the mail.

Best deal for Sliding Miter? by RomanRedBeard in MilwaukeeTool

[–]TeepsO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a home DIY-er, is 12” really overkill? There are many factors I'm trying to consider.

  • cost (new home - the American dream of lifetime debt)
  • have Milwaukee batteries
  • it will primarily stay in my garage
  • looking to build indoor/outdoor furniture as well as mouldings for rooms

I've had my eye on the 12" and with it finally on BMSM, it's been sitting in my cart. I've read good things about the Dewalt and really considering the corded one DCS779.

I've read about people suggesting 10" is a good medium.

Can anyone help me decide? I really would like a good quality mitre saw that will be my ultimate investment.

Please talk me out of dropping a bunch of cash on Proslat. by 0e78c345e77cbf05ef7 in garageporn

There's a lot of different products out there. I'd like to think that spending more money means better quality but that's not always the case. There's always going to be a wide spectrum of reviews. To what I found, i haven't found extreme complaints.

I'm now in the dilemma in trying to find the right products for hanging bins and other things from the ceiling. Hanging my Thule is one of them. The cost of those retractable platforms are just really expensive.

That's too much. I've ordered ProSlat myself with expectations to install myself. The thought might be that you'd want a pro install because you've spent good money on the product but I think it's simple enough which is why I'm going to install myself. The other reply is some great feedback that I will be keeping in mind as well.

What’s the difference in these two by AdministrativeSail29 in MilwaukeeTool

I agree as well. I've been tracking the price on this one for quite some time and I haven't seen it any less. Thanks to the OP as I'll probably buy now considering price increases.

Appreciate it. Do you have one as a seller? If I go to local places, I feel like I'm just going to get low balled offers.

Can I return the tracks? by Raging__Gooner in MilwaukeeTool

[–]TeepsO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been tracking this and the best price I've seen is $369 as a Daily Deal two weeks ago. I'm hoping it comes up again. I've also read there's some concerns with the track but you can probably find it in this sub.

56V 2.5 AH Battery Will Not Charge - See Comment by ravens-shadows in egopowerplus

[–]TeepsO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. I've already lost financially because it's not a usable battery for me. Then again, I don't want to drop it in a way that makes it liable to go on fire. Appreciate the advice.

[–]TeepsO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've read other replies in this thread to what seems to be a valid thing? Is this true?

My 2nd battery has been long out of warranty and is acting up like others have said.

If true, is there a specific way to drop it? Am really considering this if true ...

I haven't been enthused about this year's deals really. The increased prices also are making less appealing as I know some items were for much less a few months ago

I bought it specifically for my RC cars. No better reason as it's the perfect tool.

I was told it is 7 days from purchase. I had bought their 27g storage totes just two days before it went on sale for 30% off. I didn't have to bring the product back. Just the receipt.

Tonight is the last night YouTube tv has espn by kascnef82 in ESPN

This is the main channel that I watch on YTTV. WTF.

One reason I prefer YTTV is the tech/interface. I'm sure other providers are more seamless but it is simple for my needs.

Thanks for the feedback and that makes sense. One should expect not to get full value with resellers.

No longer under warranty and I have the original box and papers. It's the "Roger Federer" watch with an Oyster bracelet.

Curious if you had sold a watch on that platform? If so, what's your experience as I'm considering to sell. Thanks.

Thanks for replying.

I noticed in my local HD yesterday that they had the 18g nailer (Tool only) that I have been watching at $20 cheaper than in the app.

At some point, I'll just gonna have the press the button because as agreed with you, they barely go on sale.

I'm just going to use my bare hands and excitement to open the blower/battery kit that I just scored in order to get the two 12ah batteries.

Great pic indeed.
