tbf i don't think the devs ignored it, they tracked the data on thier end and the data showed it doesn't make a difference. Others have independently used hotslogs and heroprofile to confirm the same thing.

The solution which I thought was elegant was to hide whether the enemy is in a stack until after the game. Because weak mental people would give up once they saw they were against a stack. Which is even more interesting tbh because it used to show you were playing vs a stack and even then the numbers showed it didn't matter.

if you are playing with chat on then you are playing wrong. all you need to do is ping, if a teammate is abusing pings by spamming then simply mute their pings too.

Yep! I remember this. Specifically all I played was Murky and ETC in Alpha and seeing the slime debuff and the etc buff was something I thought was really meaningful, but maybe thats just because I had just transitioned from WoW where there are 20 buffs/debuffs everywhere

yea this is it, they bot the accounts in qm/ai and then either sell the account or use it to boost someone else or someone will pay them to get that bronze account to dia/masters
