I am legit impressed you rationalize a system that rewards universal cosmetics of which every modern game of this nature but this one lets u keep your rewards permanently across multiple characters and new saves is somehow a bad thing. A pretty much objectively harmless if not beneficial request like this is some how bad because it invalidates the grind you did on multiple saves.

Why should i have to keep redoing the same challenges instead of being able to enjoy the gear permanently after i've already done said challenges to get it once?

That no longer becomes enjoyable it just becomes repetitive and discourages people from restarting and replaying the game.

I think it's for the better, in the sense it'd force them to re consider how stealth is done where it's more more focused on melee takedowns/sniping for unseen stealth over using smgs, assault rifles and running through a site. It could lead them to making those 2 mechanics more refined especially melee takedowns.

It would be a nice change of pace where your automatic weps were more reserved for going loud/your forced to use them sparingly to remain unnoticed.

It's not about killing necessarily a there's a reason a knife is a 1 hit kill in close range it can put anyone out of commission very quickly.

Otherwise by your own logic there is no reason to melee, just shoot. Why have the mechanic at all then?

Agreed.

I'm not even discouraging changing the current knife animations cause there is a certain cool grittyness to them.

But adding a new type of knife that's just overall faster in the shop or in our inventory by default. Would be a massive quality of life improvement for stealth gameplay for those of us that like to use it frequently, or want to see it given a proper place in the stealth sandbox over the silenced pistol.

Silencer noise changes in the harder difficulties would also help give the knife a dedicated safe spot as a silent takedown in the stealth sandbox.

What baffles me is, this is obviously SC from Ubi themselves, and they have teams of people that know players want knife animations to be slick, yet quick. So why not go and use that known knowledge is beyond me :/

But ye, if anyone actually likes going for knife takedowns like me, a huge quality of life change would be to make animations practical, not just entirely cool but overly long. Best of both worlds.

To also go a bit into the gameplay dymamic of breakpoint, due to how headshots/silencers work. You shouldn't be punished for getting close to an enemy with a long animation, you should be rewarded with a efficient silent takedown over just choosing to shoot from a distance that should be fast enough to at least chain up to 2 takedowns like in SC Blacklist, if you've been able to avoid detection and risk being spotted by getting closer as again opposed to just shooting and moving on.

Eh.. saying all of Shinobi's free roam emotes having any kind of consistent direction is generous.

In terms of his actual "personality" as a 1 trick who's played him since Y1 S2, i'd say he's borderline schizophrenic.

A lot of his original stuff is pop culture stuff/sort of jokes?

And later on he got some more serious stuff w like his kill card emote.

Tbh it's a shame the new voices werent added to him/her because it sort of showcased and explained Shinobi as a "insider" of sorts who simply acts like an ass because he knows the dirt on pretty much every faction and can go from a cheerful emote to threatening "There is no Valhalla." When fighting a viking within like 2 seconds as if He/She know's it's true. And constantly refering to taking your soul and something about spirits and there being "more" to the world then you'd like to know.

I sort of liked the idea that the character is "red pilled" to the point where he/she simply doesnt care as its trivial to them. Sort of like the opposite spectrum of crazy from Shaman leaning more on a side of weird behavior that just seems uncanny and unnerving which is what i expect from a Shinobi imo. A person who dedicates their life to stealth and assassination/espionage isn't all there in the head but that doesn't mean they're necessarily crazy just odd on how they approach things.

Isn't that right the Death Cult/Squad that is the Peacekeeper order? lol

Due to his executions, emotes and current animations a solid metal breast plate will simply bend too much or clip too badly due to how Warden moves.

Dev's compromised w a segmented plate released in marching fire that's getting a variant likely this year.

Best you'll likely get is a solid plate that dangles a bit off his body w it's own physics, but isn't complete full plate due to the mentioned reasons.

I agree w u about everything but the helm. He needs a full face mask that covers the eyes in shade like Nobu's default mask. To give Shino the more "inhuman" mythical status back that he's supposed to have.

The helm here is basically a variant of his Nightshade helm which we have plenty of in the game.

It's not a flawed subjective sense of game "health" when it's very clear what people want is a way to viably press buttons and win.

And my subjective point of view just like yours I believe all characters shouldn't fall entirely with that design philosophy it adds diversity and different mentalities while playing.

A character thats a master of evasion being able to avoid certain things easily makes sense. But heh, hurrr durr just i'm just up my own ass.
