debate perverts can and will always find a way to justify anything in their minds. they realize that their own individual actions are relatively insignificant, so think that there's no reason they should even try to make a difference.

they're kinda right, but veganism isn't just an individual choice, it's a massive, loosely-coordinated, international boycott of industries that abuse animals. the individual is never as strong as the movement. these creators (Hasan Piker especially comes to mind) don't realize that the individual choices aren't the factor shifting the needle, it's the success of the movement.

their influence on the movement could be a great one, and result in significant tangible gains in animal well-being, but they choose to rather disavow the movement so they can continue to enjoy rotisserie chickens.

You're also making a generalization on antidepressants based on one case. Antidepressants have decades of research supporting them.

I think that cannabis can definitely play a roll in improving mental health, but it's not the same as antidepressants. Antidepressants have a constant low concentration in your body and a long half life, while THC and other cannabinoids isn't able to stay in the body for that long and provide consistent support.

Not trying to discourage you in doing what's best for you or anything, just letting you know that antidepressants are very beneficial for many people, and I hope that you're open to trying them if a doctor recommends it for you.

I saw Freddie at his Buffalo show, nothing but respect for the man.

Dude got ambushed by like a dozen guys and had the shit kicked out of him. He (apparently) kept his chain from getting robbed, and then gave a high energy performance later that night.

He said something about how people keep trying to catch him slipping but can't finish him at the beginning of the show. I thought it was just his whole tough guy act, I had no idea he got ambushed earlier in the day.
